Why is Jordan consider the greatest player of all time? My opinion Jordan was the best one on one player but over all my opinion I would rate Magic as the greatest of all time. Well Let's put it this way if you had to draft a player as your #1 pick to start your team who would you draft Jordan or Magic?

But if you talking about the greatest player of all time, I got to go with Bill Russell. I hate the Celtics, but Russell won 11 championships with them. So if that doesn't make him the G. O. A. T, then what does?

Wish they all played in the same era, but all were head and shoulders above the rest of the league during their time. Nobody playing in the NBA right now would be considered in the discussion of greatest of all time.

I know he prolly isnt even the greatest center of these times but whos gonna match up with this guy?

And like I said before who would people rather have on here team Magic or Kobe and you all know a lot of NBA players don't like to play with Kobe and that's a fact

Yeah they employed hack a shack couldnt stop him still he and kobe won and thats with only a "big two", nowadays they talking big threes (parker, duncan, ginobili) (bosch, wade, james), and besides we talking best of all time, we wanna take one guy, put him on the other guy and problem solved. Kobe could negate Michael (all in theory, err from the looks of it, all unscientific of course), Lebron could stick to Magic, Duncan or Mailman, who knows could be Dominque. But Shaq, who can match his physicality? What did Larry price always say "phyisical superiority cancels out all theory".

When he gets to LA, he becomes an absolute terror with great post moves, foot work, defense and passing! Shaq and MJ are my building blocks if I were to start a team from scratch.
FYI. Hakeem will be in foul trouble from the get go and you can't do much riding the bench.
