However any information on the victim's cell would be usable in any subsequent investigation conducted by LEO and admissible in court. If a monger text-ed her cell with talk about services and prices and the monger's identity can be established, there could be a possible investigation on that monger or mongers. It would be up to the LEO handling the investigation if they wanted to invest the time and resources on any investigations other than one on her ex. The topic of human trafficking is a hot subject and is the Department of Homeland security is acting as a warehouse for any information related to human trafficking. So even if no subsequent investigations are done, the information could be passed on and stored for future investigations. Hopefully all involved used some common sense!
