And, for a cop to follow your friend around town to 'every single place on a particular day' is strange at best. They're only going to do such things if your friend is a suspect in a major crime.

It's not like someone from the creek couldn't drive to Duluth or Suwanee 5 minutes away. Heck just a few minutes west to Roswell and Alpharetta. Too much nose up in the air over the creek.
