You dug some names up out of the past! What great time I had at them. The after hour get-downs used to be epic.

All the strippers from the First King, Barbary Coast, 1st King, Charlies and that other spot out on Broadway and 130th or 140th. The Black Porn Stars used to be up in that ***** Ms. CoCo aka Kelly Starr, Skyy Black, Brown Sugar, Mahogany, Brazil, Lola Lane and many others. The net wasn't so big back then, it was so easy to:

1. Get a number.

2. Slide to the crib or mo-mo.

3. Hook something up for later or another time.

4. Get it right then and there.

You had the professional and amateur Hoes. Sometimes just a random freak tagging along with friends might be up in there. You could holler, get a number and be hitt'in shortly there after.

The lap dances were really no holds barred! The stage performances were off the hook.

The flip side was that most of the spot were in heavy gang areas. The gang members were definitely in attendance.

Talked to Cee-lo, last year before Covid-19 at King Henry's and he said he was planning to start doing stuff and I know he does stuff probably for small circles of a select few. I was once in Big Tim's small circle. As for the black porn stars, yes bruh I smashed Brown Sugar BBFS for like $40 bucks at the spot on Imperial and Western across the golf course, she knew I slid off the Rubby and she let me finished CIP and got mad at me and started laughing. I was in the area and decided to check this spot out. Usually a topless bar but right now is only operating as a bikini bar. No lap dances and girls must keep their tops on. I talked to Linda and Chloe. Chloe is right up my alley, pretty mexican chick with curves. Though I'm pretty sure those curves are made of plastic. No mileage at all but was a nice change of pace for me.

I was driving along Norwalk Blvd when I noticed the plastic tarp had been removed from the monument sign. I was done for the day, so I pulled into the lot to see. Sure enough, the front entrance was open (for Covid ventilation, no doubt). There was a small table outside, with a bottle of hand sanitizer and digital thermometer.

I entered and waited--both so my eyes could adjust to the dim light, and to wait for the doorman. He noticed me waiting, and approached. I asked him when did they re-open. He replied that they opened last Thursday (May 13). He asked to see my ID, and gave me a perfunctory pat down (as was the custom before the ownership change). With the loud music, and his face mask, I didn't hear 100% of what be said. But I did get: that it was happy hour; he wasn't going to charge me cover today; and he was giving me some complimentary free passes for a future visit. I proceeded to a seat at the bar, and ordered a domestic bottle of beer ($5).

The remodeled interior bears no resemblance to what was there before. Clearly, the demolition took out everything, leaving the building an empty box. It is a new floor layout; to support the new layout, they had to have put in new electrical and new plumbing. There is a new section for VIPs. The stage is now in the center of the room. There are booths and floor seating. TV screens are strategically placed. The lighting is just right. The color palates, the materials and textures--everything is really well done. Its all very classy without going overboard. Nothing gaudy.

Being 3 pm; not having been re-opened too long; there weren't to many customers (less than 10). There were 4 ladies, 1 bartender, 1 manager and 1 security. The ladies were on the younger side (I'm guessing 3 dancers were in their 20's, 1 MILF in her late 30's). None of the dancers were dancing on stage because they were busy socializing / lap dancing for the few customers there.

I only stayed for one beer. I just wanted to check things out. This looks like a soft opening. But I'll probably check it out one night, during prime time.

SWS bug me out, so many rules plus cops.

Escorts are so much work, hotels, lottery for quality.

The lady that owns king Henry and Starz owns both properties and the lot opposite King Henry. It has to do with law suits from some gals and other stuff. I see some of the gals who worked day and night shift at a friends club house on western and Manchester. She used to be a stripper too. Other gals have moved to Atlanta.

There were three dancers. When not dancing on stage, they were hanging out with a group of guys, who I think were their friends. (The type of friends who toss a few bills on stage to make it look like something is happening, on a slow day when nothing is going to happen.).

The most entertaining thing was when a slightly more experienced dancer was teaching a newer dancer how to do tricks on the (stage) pole. The bottom line is that these ladies seemed to be in their mid late 20's with some, but not a lot, of club experience.

I verified that the club has been open for about three weeks now. This is a soft opening. The "grand opening" is June 18. (The club had been closed for so long, when LACo hit the yellow tier, they just decided to open.).

Finally, the DJ was promoting $25 dances in the booth area (VIP). I don't know if laps on the floor are still available. On both of my visits, none of the dancers seemed to be pushing dances of any type.

Really sorry to hear it's gone.

I was always treated so well there and as an out of towner that goes a long way.

Great atmosphere, the girls were fun and super friendly / party vibe.
