Here's a tip that I hope helps.

Don't go to the 99 cent store looking like the rest- (a bum). Shave, clean up, smell nice but not over powering. Put on some nice cloths and shoes, stand out above the rest, look successful. This is such a busy hotel, the guards don't care as long as there isn't any problems. Plus, half the women in Vegas look like hookers anyway when they're glitzed up for a night out.
