What I have learned from watching many friends on both sides of the fence book extended appointments on a first meeting is that quite often it fails to meet their expectations. The fact that you were going in blind and asking questions AFTER making the appointment is a bit like a guy buying a car based on a drawing that was made at an unknown time, with estimated specs on paper and then building a custom garage to put it in.
There are just too many variables that are unknowns.
