Christmas Eve night. Always one of my most favorite nights to monger. Holidays might make most mongers stay home, but the drug habit doesn't take holidays off. That recipe has always led itself to find prime pickings on the mongering trail. There's been several girls I've picked up through the years on this very night. And as usual, I plan on going out for a few hours shortly and see what I might happen into.
Well the Christmas Eve mongering was uneventful this year. There was more people giving people Christmas violence than anything else. There was a huge number of cops flashing their blue Christmas lights in the projects near Parker High early this morning, which was about the most exciting thing there was going on.
I mongered last night. Didn't see anything special. There were way too many cops for my taste on 1st ave though.
Other than that, it was a quiet night I got to say. Ended up going to a bar with live music and chilled for the night.
12/30/15 at 0530 1st Ave and. At 55th St spied a cute red head walking north. Gave a wave and she smiled back. Looped around the block, she was waiting on the corner. Nice looking, about a 6, early 20's 5'4 110. Jeans and tee shirt w / hoodie. Probably some crack issues, but seemed okay. We struck a deal for. 3 and she said she knew a place. I told her so did I and went on up to Eastlake. She gave BBBJ, I didn't last long and she got pissed with a CIM, but she didn't say not to. Dropped her back by the Post Office. Kim or Kimmy / ie. Wouldn't give digits. If you see her, she's okay.
I wonder if this Kimmy is the girl I saw on 1st earlier today. This girl had a grayish hoodie on with the hoodie up, and some red striped looking pajama bottom type leggings on. She also looked very cute, and young, and very pale which looked as if she was on crack or meth, more than likely meth. Crackheads don't calmly walk down the road and ignore a potential date as she did me later on. Anyway, I first saw her walking toward the Family Dollar down from the Motel 8, and by the time I could get back around she was in the parking lot headed what I thought was inside. I never saw her come out so I started riding around the area. I circled the area a good 45 or so minutes, and finally saw her getting out of a truck in the parking lot. Then she started walking back toward the Motel 8, I thought, while talking on her phone. But by the time I could maneuver myself to try to pick her up she was gone. So I rode on down 1st, because I had to leave the area soon. Then when I ventured back toward where I saw her, I rode down the road that went by the old cable company, probably 1st Avenue South, and when I got to where it would be parallel to Woodlawn High, there the girl was walking down the sidewalk. That made me think of a girl that used to always walk down 1st until she got to the intersection by McDonalds, but then would go down the street to the side road and walk down the sidewalk where I found her at. So I wonder if this was the same girl. She's the type that won't acknowledge you just giving her the stare, you've probably got to actually say something, and I never got the chance to encounter her at a street crosswalk. I know she dates, just getting her to know I'm a potential one, that was the issue. Anyway, if that was the girl I remember, she used to be out late at night as well, so I may try to go out later tonight and see. I know It's been a while since I've found anybody worthy of a second time.

I know it's a hit and miss hobby, but it seems Bham's scene is so much smaller than other cities. I still think there's SW's that have phones without internet service, do guys ever get digits for these girls that can be shared? The last time I went over there I rode around and saw nothing of any substance in those areas. I had to venture off into the lower areas around Lowery to even see any girls walking. It's never going to be like it was, regardless. I've always been that I wouldn't pick a girl up if I saw her on a phone, because that probably meant she'd be interrupted during our time. I used to take them to areas away from their track, and without a phone I'd not be interrupted, and many times would spend a couple of hours or more with many. Nowadays, you won't see a girl walking that she doesn't have a phone up to her ear.
In the past I used to say that if you had patience and time, you could eventually find a girl out walking. But lately there's been more times than not that I've gone out and not seen a single girl out walking. I just refuse to go the BP or CL route. In my opinion, it's a lot more risky to be arrested, or caught up in some type of sting, plus I'm not going to pay escort prices for crack addicts. I know there's some that's not, but then you also have ones that want to treat their dates like they're the Elephant Man, regardless how much they're paid. I'd rather be out 20-40, than 120-240 or whatever, for the inevitable attitudes you encounter.
It's true there are (not is) people (whom I suppose are black) that are up to no good in the Avondale restaurant district and they're doing things even in the early hours of the evening with people around right in the area where all the "hipster shit" (which apparently means BBQ, pizza and beer) is being sold. In one instance recently, they fired their gun in the air even before starting the attempted robbery, which doesn't seem too bright. There have been two other abductions in the area recently as well.
Still, the area will change as the district grows. The police will add presence or the businesses will add security or both. Until they do, we can choose not to go consume the "hipster shit" (BBQ, pizza and beer) being sold there.

I was mainly saying how there's people on Facebook, [URL]al.com[/URL] and the like that are blind to the fact of what the area is, and the fact that drugs and the like are not even a block away. There's been people on Facebook argue with me, acting like the area is completely safe, and my trying to say there's drugs, prostitution and crime in the area was just fabrications by me trying to make the area lose business. I have nothing against the area growing, but to act like they feel completely safe, and just assume 'police presence' means they're safe, is quite ignorant. And I'm not scared one bit to go in Avondale. I've ate at Saw's, Post Office Pies and the like, and wouldn't be worried one bit to go there at night. It's these people younger than 35 that have this kumbaya attitude, that think that because they consider everyone equals, that the attitude will be returned. No, what's going to happen is when they open those garden homes in the middle of Woodlawn, some mid 20s couple will think it's safe to walk their dog in the middle of the night, and end up another Carol Robinson article on al.com.
I would say there are (not is) people and are (not is) drugs so we differ there (unless I read your post wrong), but I would agree that people might be deceived into safety there. Based on what I've heard (including from someone I know personally who a victim) I am concerned about visiting Saw's and Post Office Pies (what another poster calls "hipster shit" for some reason) at night. I keep an eye out.

Good to see that you are still active, Clark. You were my mentor when I first joined USASG. Have not been to be'ham in months and in Avondale even longer, but are there really garden homes springing up in Avondale? Anyone with eyes could see that as a dumb idea.

It's no different than Brooklyn NY, or any other community where you have people coming in with their craft beer breweries, $10 cupcake stores, some guy with a beard with his wife, who runs a boutique that sells clothes made from recycled tampons. Whatever. I personally care a pistol on me at all times. It doesn't make a difference whether I'm at the Summit, or having to drive through downtown. Shit's going to happen where it's going to happen. But I know the odds go down if I were to spend every weekend in Avondale, or 5 pts, or Woodlawn. Sooner or later something is going to happen. The main problem, as it would be anywhere is people being a little intoxicated leaving a restaurant in the early hours of the morning, and you have to walk back to your car. And you met up with some tweaker willing to do anything and everything to get some money. Or some punk kid that needs to steal your car to join some gang. No thanks. I just think the people going there and setting up businesses there are giving a certain type of black person waaaaay too much credit.

What is this calling people out on minor grammatical errors in sentences 'there are (not is) people and are (not is) drugs', then acting like they don't understand what's being said because of it? That's nothing but being a dick. First calling slumpbuster17 out, which they didn't see obviously, then in mine because I posted 'there's drugs there'. ? Fuck off. I'll not be called out like that, and talked to like I'm uneducated. When does someone that goes to a forum discussing fucking escorts and prostitutes have the right to come on and notice some random grammatical error in people's posts and make issue out of it? If they were strictly a poster in the local forum here, then that's fine. Search their old posts. They go everywhere and post, making little asinine comments here and there about the way others formulate their sentences and such, more than posting anything of value. Probably 75% of their posts are making little snide comments in relation to someone else's previous post, like they can't understand what the person said. Quit being so full of yourself. I hate these posters that want to read every forum, then want to make random comments, like everything irritates them. I remember the one that used to come here from Baltimore several years ago, and did the same thing. I've been here for well over 10 years, and have 7 times the amount of posts that they do, 10 times the quality and value. Then this asshat wants to come on here and make some little comment in relation to a couple of minor grammatical errors I made like they don't understand what I'm trying to say in my post. For one thing, sometimes I come on late at night, and I might be somewhat drunk, so there's no idea what I might type out that's grammatically incorrect. Secondly, you can't always assume what someone typed out, and what appears, is what they actually said or typed out. The forum here calls itself correcting people's posts. Thirdly, that's very, very minor and nitpicky, and to worry about something like that, and to mention it in a post, that's just being a total dick.

Niteluvr, the garden homes are being built in Woodlawn directly behind the American, and in the neighborhoods and blocks behind it. It just doesn't make sense. It's like plopping expensive homes down in the middle of a sewage plant.

Slumpbuster, it's nitpicky, and unimportant. I wouldn't worry about it beyond that. It's mainly because the both of us were speaking on here like we'd speak to someone else in person, which isn't always grammatically correct. Saying 'there's people', in some contexts, makes the full spelled out contraction be 'there is people', which sometimes should be 'there are people'. Honestly, all that doesn't matter. The two on here who came on trying to look big, one posts everywhere, and the other comes from Nashville. They both can hike it back to their home areas. I'm sure I'm not always 100% correct on my grammar. I mean, it's been decades since I was last in school. But at least I know the differences between homonyms like lose/loose and there/their/they're and the like, as you mentioned. I didn't even notice they were calling you out before, until I read the reply to my post, and realized a comment was being made about something very minor in my post. Then I went back through and saw there was also one about you, as well. I only brought it up because I don't like outsiders trying to talk down to me, you, or others on here, based on some minor grammatical error. Calling me out like I'm some 30 year old hick in the 6th grade from Mama June's trailer park or something.
Yes, I know I've always made an issue myself about the stupid veiling of the monetary amounts, but that's a completely different thing. That's people intentionally doing that to try and hide things from LE, who already know all that mumbo jumbo in the first place. Like spelling out how much some girl was paid is incriminating, while making it look like an algebra equation isn't. That's totally different than nitpicking about some minor grammar mistake someone makes. Even if you know the fact that someone is spelling something wrong or misusing words or contractions, calling someone out for something like that on a forum where fucking women for money is the topic being discussed is just being a major dick. If you can understand what the person's trying to say, leave it at that. And don't act like you don't, because you know you do. There's no need to post a reply trying to belittle someone, because in actuality it's making yourself look like a gaping asshole.
It's true. Anything can happen anywhere and you just have to keep aware. I also carry and conflict avoidance and smart moves are far more effective than my gun.
I'm missing how the price of food or the beard (or lack of one) of someone who sells you a burger is related to whether an area is safe or not, but one does need to be extra careful in the Avondale restaurant area. It's going to change for the better but it's going to take some time to settle down like anyplace else where there is this type of dynamic.

Checked on Arkedelphia again tonight and saw nothing. Although I didn't see him tonight, I have seen a security guard at the Pilot there in the past that presumably chases what few girls there are away. I also saw him chase away a rather aggressive panhandler there. I don't envy that job. What was remarkable thought was his revolver, which was the largest I've ever seen anyone carry. It was huge, like a Dirty Harry gun, with the barrel sticking out the bottom of the holster!
I apologize to the forum in general for posting my opinions in relation to the prior topic. The other one who started everything, I can't find his posts anywhere, so I believe he got removed from the membership. I wasn't trying to add to the problem, or cause any issues with the admins or anything. For that, I do apologize.
I missed all the horrible rants, but as it's THEIR forum they make the rules. I think they are too thin skinned; guess I too will get a demerit.
The attached story is one of the main reasons, besides the over the top prices, that I would never go to a motel / hotel to meet someone via an ad sight unseen.

A crack ho is a crack ho, it doesn't matter how much makeup they have on, or how smart somebody they might know is in setting up ads online. It's an old timey stop over from back when Highway 11 was the main route east and west through Birmingham. It looks like an old house from the front. It's at 4539 Bessemer Super Highway in Brighton. There's only a very small sign out front saying the name, and if you didn't know it was a motel, you'd probably never notice. I've never been inside it, myself.

It's about a quarter mile from the bowling alley on the same side, if you're headed toward Birmingham.
And as far as where to ride around, what made you mention Homewood ? I wouldn't know where to go in Homewood to look for SW. That's mainly where the hotels are that some escorts set up shop at. There's several places to check out in Bessemer, however. Read my 'Where to look in Birmingham for SW' thread under the main Birmingham heading. It's way down at the bottom under user forums. This day and time, however, I wouldn't really recommend anywhere to look other than 1st Avenue North in Woodlawn if you're really wanting to find a SW in a short amount of time, unless you've got a lot of time to kill. Most all the places I've mentioned there are basically dry, besides maybe Bessemer, and around Legion Field.

Another reason I prefer mongering for SW, not to mention staying anonymous on here, is I've never had SW show up on here trying to create drama based on what people say about them. For the most part, we all know that what we share about our experiences with whatever SW is basically moreso helping others with which ones to avoid, than which ones are good. I've known of some SW who have came here and read the forum and people's opinions of them, namely no-ass Ashley, but none of them have joined to dispute what's said. I'm glad to be able to avoid that drama, especially when seeing how escorts come on trying to retort what people say. But those instances are few and far between out in the SW scene. Most girls on the street know nothing about this site, regardless if they have a cell capable of net access or not. For that matter, most of the ones that should be on the street, but post on BP, know nothing about the site as well. There have been occasional times when SW I knew brought up in conversation about a 'site' where guys that dated SW came to discuss them. All they said was if such place existed, they needed a site themselves where they could pass information back and forth between themselves about mongers, and their sick fetishes and ones who try to get out of paying. Maybe so, but there's more need to share info about the girls, than the dates, because it's the girls not performing what they're paid to do, as the reason sites like this exist. *Question at the end*Last week I has some time to kill and I rode around through some old places I had worked and lived just looking around with a second eye looking for WSW.
