Sorry I couldn't make it to the get together but I have family obligations at night. Sounds like it was a lot of fun. We're probably making Downtown too popular, what with that door bell ringing every 10 minutes or so, men waiting around, high volume wearing down the ladies, and should really try some of the other AMP's in DC. Nova reminded me of my lowly and humble status by backchannel. Make the call, dude. Date time and venue. Maybe some of the DC degenerates will show up too. Actually, I have found it is fun to show up at an AMP with a wingman. A great idea in theory. But you state the problem too - how to find them. The $60 house fee gives us several things:
1. Anonymity. If the girls are freelancing, they have to know who their customers are, just like escorts; thus they keep records for LE to find when they get busted.
2. While not great, the AMP provides the facilities which are probably better than the average apartment that the girls would be living in.
3. Scheduling. You can pretty much count on going to most AMPS during their regular hours and not having to wait more than 10-15 minutes, but usually no wait at all with a mamasan to do traffic control. A single girl in an apartment cannot accept drop-ins.
4. The AMP sets the price to compete with other AMPs for a basically "generic" service. The popular girls get more business, but don't charge more. If they essentially become escorts, the hot girls (most of whom are more beautiful than most local escorts) will soon figure out they can charge escort prices and the system will have failed.
5. A location, using a legitimate business model, that can be published for mongers to find. An apartment manager would soon kick her out for running a "massage" service in her home, so addresses and phone numbers would constantly change. Some providers would be taking cell calls during the session - just like %^^&&&* escorts do.
6. A level of security against the "raid." You should have about 30-60 seconds between the beginnig of a LE raid and the opening of your door. Enough time to lose evidence such as raincoats and naked providers.
7. Control over the girls. They are expected to maintain a level of hygiene and service. It is reassuring when doing some DATY that very few uncovered FS sessions have been received in that hole. The mouthwash and showers do help with the reduction of STDs in AMPS. I have no illusions that STDs are NOT present in AMPS, but the pussy there sure smells better than on the street.
8. Selection. The girls may make a pile of money each day, but they didn't get here with enough to set up shop in Alexandria. The AMP no doubt helps to secure green cards and other residency stuff, probably up-fronts the plane fare, provides cheap living quarters and food until the girls have made some money to repay the debt. When they move on, the AMP imports fresh meat.

Having extolled the virtues of the AMP system, the possibility of a freelancing AMP girl is indeed intriguing, and the occasional freelancer would not destroy the "system." While this has come up in discussion before I have seen few mongers willing to share the intel. Part of the reason is the girl will probably lose her job if found out. This is apparently what happened to Mimi @ Downtown in July--just suddenly gone when she was planning on staying for a 2 more months and the mamasan's body language indicated she was not happy with her when I asked.

Regarding the hispanic place near Georgia Ave, I didn't inlcude the address in my report, because it didn't seem like the thing to do. The place is near a residential area and they only advertise their telephone number, 202-291-0751, in the City Paper. They have had ads there for several weeks, maybe missing a week here or there. This week they are there and there's an alternate number (can't remember off the top of my head as I write this), which I have never tried, and operating hours of 10am-9pm. It does not appear to be a walk-in business like the AMP's, but I could be wrong. I've gone there one other time since my initial report and I called before both visits to set up an appointment. They'll give you rate and address information when you call. If you look for it in the city paper, don't look for Blanca's Spa. Look for something like 'hispanic ladies giving full service massage'. If you read my initial report, ignore that stuff I said about giving a tip at the end. Wiseborn's post soon after my initial report on this place made it clear that an extra tip was not necessary. I didn't on my second visit.

looks like you've found the holy grail. Theres a network of these types of places as there are with the Latin and asian markets you've just made it in on the easiest types to get into. if you dig a little deeper, you'll find the same thing in the asian and hispanic markets. the key is in making yourself as well known in Blanca's spa and eventually you'll find that there are other, even cheaper deals to be had.

All this attention to the DCLatina place made me look into it.
If my intuition is correct, about 4 years ago, VIP massage or escort worked out of the location. THe lady who ran VIP, a nice looking Latino whose name escapes me at the moment (perhaps Tatiyana), relocated to a location in Laurel due to, at the time, percieved immenint visit from LE (which apparently did not happen since DCLAtina is alive and well.

My last visit to VIP (in Hillandale) was good....I told them on the phone that I knew the building and unit #, but unfortunately my memory failed.....I knocked on the door to surprise --the tenants of the "wrong unit" made it quite clear that they knew what I was looking for and were not at all happy and suggested I go to building X. Man, I screwed up there.....

When I got there, there were male and female folk there with people going in and out of a Window to boot. One fellow told me that the neighbors were fully aware that Tatiyana "delivered" which in Hispanic parlance means she was a hooker and or ran a brothel and they were tired of it, hence the window being available to get in and out in case of emergency.
Not real comforting, although Service was extremely good at a reasonable cost....at that time they still had "car wash" prices...15 minute specials as well as half hour to hour prices.

Tried Sandy. Ravensfan was right on the money with his description of her. Waifish, small as can be. Tiny firm A cups, smooth and silky skin all over. The only blemish would be that her bikini line is terribly maintained. She needs to use some good shaving cream or lubrication when she shaves. Either way she was very caring and tries reasonably to satisfy you.

Turn right and within a block you will see the International Business Center or Mall (I am not sure about the last part of the name), turn right into the second entrance which will put you in the larger parking lot.

Park, walk into the main entrance, go up the stairs to the second floor and make a left into the hallway on your left. Go to room number 217 and try to open the door. You will trip the buzzer and the Mamasan will let you in. At this time, you will see the people in the other offices not looking at you.

Stopped by IHC, aka MHC, aka 1818 NY Ave the other day. Requested Mimi, this is about the third time I have seen her and what a delight she is. Petite, about a 34/36B with a great body.
