FWIW, I've been at Zen recently and received their usual high level of service.

So. Third (or fourth) trip to the new Zen in Chemsfaaad, and I was lucky to draw Claire. Above average massage, personable attitude. She's good and I found her a bit playful too. Definitely a repeat. I didn't push any boundaries, just laid back and enjoyed her work. She didn't ask for $/ tip, which is big in my book. I took the hour for 6 and tipped 4. Would highly recommend.

Has anybody tried her and can recommend? Love to try new girls but funds are low.

I occassionally travel through the Lowell area. In other areas if it's been a long day on the road I like get a massage before trekking home. Haven't tried any of the locals in your area as I'm not a fan of AMPs and most others I've called on sounded more like escorts advertising bodyrubs. I do require some real massage skills and I'm wondering if anyone has tried Trish. Ad on BP therapeutic so cautious when I called. Didn't ask any direct questions but she said "full" body massage and when I asked about draping was told however I'm most comfortable. Good signs.

Last week I almost booked but when I called back nothing close to times that would have worked into my day. Since I have time before next trip, I thought I should ask around first.

Not 100% but there is an Asian independent who gives massages in Lowell and will allow you to strip naked but does not allow any romming and makes you do the HJ yourself. So if you want to spend $60 plus tip for a truly lame experience and that you could do at home knock yourself out.

I get there, Jenna greets me and takes me to the room. She throws a towel (Clean I hope) down on the table in the "sensitive" area, then a paper towel over the face pad. I've been to places in CT with cleaner tables, anyway.

I lay face down and Jenna starts with a pretty good message on my shoulders and neck. Then the phone rings and she excuses herself, stops and picks it up. She gets aggravated with the person on the other end (Wayne), tells him she's busy and hangs up. She apologizes and starts a backrub. Then the phone rings again and she excuses herself and answers. She finishes with the call, apologizes and starts the backrub again. Then the door bell rings, she excuses herself to answer the door and bring whichever one you poor guys in. I hear her arguing with I guess, whoever was supposed to be working the desk. I look at the clock and I have been in the room 10 minutes.

Jenna comes back in the room, apologizes again and immediately starts with the tease. She lets me know to tell her when I want to turn over. Then the phone rings again. She answers and goes outside to argue with whoever again. She comes back in, apologizes and tells me she asked her boss to give me back $5 of the house fee. She tells me to turn over and she will take special care. So I turn over and she starts "racing as fast as she can" - then the phone rings again. She walks away and answers the phone. When she comes back, I tell her to give a something to clean up with. She wipes me down, I get dressed and walk out. At least it was only $40 down the drain.

Most of us have had lackluster performances and I almost always will give a place a second chance, but no way with this place. Do what you want but I would suggest staying away. FYI. I wasn't in the room 20 minutes from beginning to end.

Sorry to hear about your terrible time. I am not making any excuses for Jenna. I would have hated it if it was happening to me. It was clearly not a good day for Jenna and it spilled over too you. Trust me most days are not like that.

I had an appointment at zen with a similar issue, she kept answering the phone and the door during my time. I have not returned.

A person can always leave a message. Sure, they might miss an appointment but if they are already with someone then they can't see that person anyway. Plus, constant interruptions means, sometimes, loss of business.

I think late afternoon / rush hour commute time is a zoo and they can't afford not to answer the phone. It was ringing off the hook, and she speaks terrible english, one time she handed me the phone to listen and help her understand.

I know some of these owners very well including Jenna. They all have the same trait in common to a fault. I have had several conversations with those I know well and can speak very candidly with. I have never been able to get anyone of them to understand the concept of satisfying the customer at hand and let the call go. They always miss the point and are only focused on not letting the "next customer get away".

I chalk up my experience with Zen as one of the hazards of our hobby. I might normally give it a second shot but I think we all can agree there is too much traffic there. It's just a matter of time before it closes.

I think you are jumping to conclusions a little too quickly. Jenna has been around and she will get things sorted out. She knows what the issues are. It isn't as busy as you are assuming. Believe me she has had days in just the past week or so with on a couple of people and the phone quiet. Sometimes it just all comes at once and she like all the rest need to decide what is more important in the long run to their business. She is in it for the long term and she will figure things out soon enough.
