Feds: Father, son ran illegal Web pharmacy

A father and son have been charged with money laundering and drug trafficking in connection with an Internet pharmacy investigators say they ran.

A 73-count federal indictment unsealed Friday accuses Jude LaCour, 35, formerly of Daytona Beach, and his father, Jeffrey LaCour, 60, of South Daytona, of distributing prescription drugs to customers who didn't have valid prescriptions. Seven doctors from Puerto Rico to Utah, a Maryland pharmacist and Hudsen Smith of DeLand, who was director of pharmacy/physician operations, also were charged.

Federal prosecutors say the pharmacy, Jive Network, recruited pharmacists to dispense and ship drugs to more than a half-million customers nationwide. Doctors reviewed health questionnaires and approved orders without examining patients or reviewing medical records, prosecutors say. The company took in more than $77 million in three years, officials say.

Not paying taxes is an entirely different charge which probably won't occur because they will already have so many charges over your head they won't need most of the tax-related charges. Anytime you try to conceal the source of money (in this case the person buying this list of yours), money laundering has been committed. As you stated:

Any financial transaction which facilitates a criminal act is considered money laundering. Prostitution is illegal in 48 states and only partially legal in the other two.

Money laundering is a very broad crime and easy to charge and prove to a jury in court.

Since you have already stated the purpose is to conceal identities and to facilitate illegal activity anyone getting involved is committing conspiracy and will be committing money laundering.

When the bust for this operation happens, the DA is going to charge every defendant with various laws which fall under sexual slavery and sex trafficking. It will be very easy to prove to a jury that the women involved in this suggested ring were coerced to participate. The DA will use such things as the victims own drug addictions to prove this point, that they did not voluntarily with no coercion enter into this setup.

Not to mention at the time of the bust, a lot of different women's groups, international agencies, and health agencies are going to swoop in to help all the women on this phone list. These women will be given places to live, money, support, attention, and jobs as long as they keep playing the victim which everyone around them will give them plenty of encouragement to do. Most likely these women will even lie in order to keep up the attention and benefits of being victims so some of the guys that participate will get charged and convicted of other crimes like rape or assault no matter how false they may be. Once this is over, a lot of the women will go on to have decent careers as public speakers or workers at domestic violence shelters and sex abuse facilities. They will have every incentive to make the guys involved in this operation seem like monsters and no one will doubt them. The DA is going to stack the charges against anyone involved in this ring. The defendants will be buried under the jail from the weight of the charges before the trial even begins.

You seem to be trying to confuse multiple issues so this post will deal solely with the website in this post.

As far as the sites go, there are different kinds, hosted in different countries, whose owners reside in various countries. The site owners getting busted means shit to mongers who do nothing but post about their exploits. At worst and highly highly highly unlikely is they could get subpoenaed for information (did I mention how unlikely that is?).

Also, USASG is a completely different site than TER in several critically important ways. I am a member here and post here whereas I would never do so on TER. Posting on TER is not dangerous, but there are certainly other potential issues on that site that do not exist on USASG.


Going after a website is much harder and can be really hard if the website is setup properly. Jackson has less to worry about for USASG and it appears unlike TER or TBD he knows a little bit about it keeping himself safe. A good example of my belief is the fact that he does not charge fees for being a member or posting on USASG, even and especially for the providers (unlike his international site which does have fees, which isn't a problem). A very smart move on his part as any legal danger he faces comes from the USA and not accepting money from providers or mongers for the USA-related site reduces his liabilities significantly.


As far as other sites go. The two owners of the*********.net narrowly escaped prison because Hillsborough County Sheriff's and prosecutors made procedural errors and violated TBD owners' rights to a speedy trial. They were not prepared for such a bust and in their eagerness to make a name for themselves in the LE world they failed to get assistance with the case (which prevented them from direct server record access for example). They have provided a pretty good template though for how to attack such sites and what not to do though.


The owner of TER was recently released from jail for parole violations. While in prison for his parole violation some close associates of his, who he has business and financial ties with when down in a massive arrest.

The owner of the TER was facing at least 4 years for his parole violations, but now he is out and there was a major sting while he was in jail. Did he give up information so he wouldn't go to prison? Is he cooperating with LE? Who knows, but this happens all the time in the world of criminal justice. Very few people are willing to do time for someone else, especially for people they don't actually love or care about. Putting any amount of trust in keeping yourself safe in the hands of other mongers or prostitutes is crazy and thus the monger network is crazy.


Whether a site's owner is in danger or not depends on several factors which are too boring and pointless to go over. Right now, it appears USASG has very little to worry about. Besides a few minor things, the site is run acceptably for the increasingly super-LE paradise that is the USA. Getting involved with TS's idea as the funds administrator would significantly increase his liability. Generally, when trying to get control or gain access to a board, LE likes to get the admins to do things which don't seem that big of a deal but actually get them tied up significantly. Being responsible for the collection and management of funds would be one of those things.

No paranoia in anything I say. All experience. It is good for people to fully understand the risks before getting involved in something. For the most part I imagine, most guys on this forum have little knowledge of the legal system, little experience with the police beyond traffic laws, and little knowledge of how simple, innocent-seeming acts can get them in big trouble. LE likes this fact because they like arrests and convictions, the easier the better, the more the better. Who gets busted doesn't matter, particularly if it is nobodies who have no power or influence.

I have no fight with Terra. All I am doing is making sure I adequately warn people of what is a terrible idea. His non-monger network posts don't bother me.

Setting a sting for a network of individuals who primarily reside in MD, don't know each other personally, and don't know the women personally is a much easier and cheaper task than going after the owners of a website.

It would not be very difficult for any Maryland police agency to infiltrate the network either on the men's side or the female's side. In fact, setting this all up through the internet makes it easy since they don't have to go through the much more difficult process of dealing with people who have personally and intimately known each other for years (i.e. street gangs, organized crime, guys from the same neighborhood, etc.) nor do they have to deal with the difficult and sometimes impossible task of "going undercover". Even assuming that 100% of the male members of this network are not LE, all it takes is one woman or man to mess up in the ring for it to come crumbling down bad. Setting up criminal networks (which is what this is since prostitution is illegal in MD) in the US through the internet has to be the dumbest thing someone could do. You can't control the women and if they get in trouble the network gives them a tool to use to get out of trouble (or maybe get a boyfriend out of trouble). You can't control the men, so the guys on the forum who like to print out posts for the women (the dumbasses) will also be a part of this network. When one of them gets mad because Baltimonger has sex with a woman he likes and thinks in his crazy head is his girlfriend, there is nothing stopping him from bringing the whole network down. If Baltimonger doesn't like what One Finger posted about him on the forum because he had a bad day, he could bring down the whole network.

This is why this whole idea is very suspect. An experienced monger like TS appears to be, who has never been arrested for prostitution and doesn't want to be, would never allow himself to be in a position that the monger network would put him in. Bad news today, my grandmother died at the age of 71. She lived not far from the area where I used to monger.
