I visit the Phoenix area 4-5 times a year & I'm planning on moving there in '08. Does anyone have any recommendations on legit asian massage gals & parlors? In other words, great full body massage like only asians seem to be able to do, a little bit of teasing but no extras. (Actually knowing ahead of time that I'm not in a jack shack really helps me to relax into the massage.) I know this is not quite the focus of this forum but this is generally what I look for in an AMP or asian independent. Any tips are much appreciated. Feel free to PM.

Finding a legit massage in the Valley is tough, and the Asian places are most all rub and tug joints.

[/QUOTE]Enjoy Massage on the Northwest corner of 43rd Avenue and Northern (inside Glendale City limits) appears to be legit. I received an above average massage there while draped in a sheet. The sheet was held. To cover. While I flipped. I have no idea what would have happened if I would have pitched a tent. Perhaps, my little friend would have been offered a glass of water.
Point of Interest (while I'm here): I do believe that City Code in Phoenix prohibits anyone from habitating in a massage establishment. This would go a long way in explaining why so many AMPs are located inside the border of Glendale. If I had to guess. And I may stand corrected here. Anfu, Avalon and Red Butterfly appear to be establishments where the help sleeps over. This may partially explain. And also in other outlying cities. The aroma of chicken and broccoli that hits you when you walk in the door.
Thanks for all the ahem, "tips". Actually it's good to know that, I won't get my hopes up too much. I did get a couple of PM's with some possibilities.
How about if I refuse to flip & just get my backside massaged? Will I be forever banned from that AMP? I guess it's all about making a little extra money from the messeuse's point of view. Even better how about if I tip up front but tell them I want a teasing type of massage but not the HJ? I suppose the next barrier is one of language but if they get a 40-60$ tip up front & know what I want I think it might work out.
BTW, anyone members paying a visit to Chi-town & want tips on excellent asian MT's, blue balls & all, feel free to PM me.

All kidding aside about being banned for refusing to flip and getting the required HJ I can tell you from experience that if you go into a jack shack & don't leave the expected & required tip ($20 doesn't cut it) regardless if the standard HJ service was performed, you will likely meet the hostilities of the jilted "therapist". I've had several experiences including hissing, blocked doorways, being told & not nicely to not come back, etc. I find it mostly amusing. BTW, even if house fee is 40-50 more than what you normally would expect to pay for a legit massage, don't assume that your cheap $20 tip is going to be appreciated. If the house asks for more the house is keeping more, generally speaking. Consider it the cost of doing business, or so says the house. I'm sure many long time hobbyist have heard the lame story about how the money you paid at the door is going to the cheap owner & therefore you need to tip more for the services that were just provided.

Just got an e mail from the MMS at the Avalon. Says she has two willing Chinese girls working now and they want to stay open for Christmas. I've been to this place several times and it is nice. Service varies as the girls come and go. Last visit to Stacy was not that good. Stacy gone now.
If I was not so busy today I would head on over.

I usually get a worse sewer-like smell of old KimChee and rotten fish when I enter an MP. The two AMPS we have in Tucson smell just like that.

Beg to differ with you my friend and others regarding legit massage.
First of all let's define 'legit'. All massage establishments in the valley have business licenses to operate, all of their employees are required to have massage therapist certifications (ie. they had to attend at least a basic certified massage school).
How you choose to define 'legit' lies in the underlying nature of their services. If an establishment advertises in the back section of the New Times offering Asian girls and their hours of operation are 9:00 am to 11:00 pm ... bingo! you just might get a rub and a tug. Even those places, however often have very skilled providers (most often older) who provide fantastic massages. Nancy at OK spa gives one of the best technical massages that I have ever had. There are many others that have been reported on. Unfortunately, many of these establishments with younger workers only offer a faux massage (tickle & tease) in order to extract $$ as quickly as possible from you.
If you are looking for massage facilities that only offer the "rub' part of the equation, then simply Google "massage therapy AZ". Many options are available.
Two places come to mind in that category, a facility on NW corner of Country Club and Southern, the other, Lakeshore Spa on Dobson and Baseline. I have visited both of these places and you can get a good technical massage. If you don't mind being in a place with a bunch of ladies getting their nails done then have at it.
Mr TylerPerelli is correct in the sense though that this forum is not about places like Lakeshore Spa, rather it is completely about places where a guy can doink some babe (even though that has never happened to my knowledge).

I am curious about this place as I believe it was once owned by the same group that owned Bali Hai in Mesa. Had one of my best experiences ever there with 'Jenny' who knew me from Bali Hai.
Now their hours only extend to 9:30 pm which is interesting.
How would you describe your provider? Would love to hear more. Also sometimes if the girl is a little uncertain of you, she will do the sheet or towel routine to cover you ... but just throw the 'sombitch' away and she will get the message.

But, it was "once bitten" and I'm not going back (I am accustomed to the towel, but the sheet seemed like a definite roadblock. Espcially as I laid there without a stitch. On my stomach. To start).
Admittedly, my two biggest liabilities at the AMPs are that I am not an aggressive enough monger and I prefer variety to stability. Meaning I seldom repeat with the same provider.
One hundred yards west of Enjoy Massage is Avalon AMP. Even with my passive demeanor, it has all the appearances of a buffet. What would like to see on your plate today? Done.
Avalon rotates staff continuously. My last (Helen) was in from California for a couple of weeks and then gone. But, it does fit my previous observation that for those two weeks they live on the premises.
