I think you are right that it comes down to a judgement call. When I think about the SWs who made the right call -- it was older, wiser, more sober hookers who wanted to make money and stay out of jail.

The ones who put me in a bad spot were ones jonzing for her next fix and couldn't see past that, with no commonsense about whether or not she in the crosshairs of LE.

Problem I have faced is mongering in a different city and not knowing the lay of the land. Same problem when I almost got popped off of Harrison -- was in unfamiliar territory there (at least at that time).

Did a Christmas ho run last night to celebrate the holiday.

CT minor action - oddly enough not too many bottom feeders or pharmacist hanging around, home for the holidays I guess.

This occured to me about 4 years ago but I thought I it would be worth sharing. There was a cop working detail by the Chinatown T-Station, and I must have passed him 6 or 7 times. On the 8th he gets right in front of my car and called me out by my last name and told me to get the hell out of there. I would assume by my experiences that even though LE can arrest you it is faster to scare you and get rid of you than process the paperwork on a arrest.

Just be polite.

I believe that is correct -- unless it an active sting operation, you really have to piss them off to get arrested (IMHO)

Being polite is one thing. Having a cop harass you because he thinks you are cruising for ho's (true or not) is another. I've had this happen once or twice before and my answer is always the same, 'I'm looking for a really good parking spot'. It's a long ways from stopping you in traffic alone to arresting you for ho'ing - I don't even think the LAPD could concoct that one. ;) Of course if later that night he sees you cruising by with a ho in the car then you have a problem...

Of course riding the same track over and over is never a good idea. Mix it up, Tyler-Oak, PP..etc

Don't know why headed out last night in the rain but I did. The only thing I saw was Diamond by the 7/11 and a short fat girl by the Mobil. I didn't have in me to pick either one up and everything else looked dried so I headed back to the castle. Hope you guys had better luck.

Every now and again I check this site for "stings" and sure enough, they had a set up in district 2 that busted 4 "john's" with names listed on the site. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK ASSHOLES! anyway heads up on Dot ave guys. I think they busts were there with a police decoy.

Decided to avoid any issues in Boston I did my typical patrol through Chelsea. I got a good find a nice WSW who I was able to get a decent CBJ for .30. She told me she does INCALL out of her apartment in Somerville. If you're a SENIOR and you wish the digits PM.

Did a trip through CT and BHA and boy was LE out. I hung out until 4am thinking it would die down... I was wrong. 4 hours of gas burned but then again I didn't get bagged by LE, not a bad trade off.

BK did you see two seperate LE's stopping two SW's on Sat.? What was going on?
