I went to Ricks last week and it SUCKED .. i guess i must get accustomed to WASHINGTON strip clubs. the club had very beautiful as most strip clubs should, but when i was made aware of all the rules associated to this strip club that really turned me off.
the good .. its all nude
the bad...
-you could NOT get any closer then 6 ft from the dancers , i put a dollar in the girls g-string and the bouncer quickly corrected me , saying i had to throw the dollar on the stage.
-they do NOT serve alchohol
-the lap dances are fully clothed , no nudity
---what is going on in the world , i used to live in el paso tx for awhile and there rules were regarding BYOB - no more then a 12 pack or 1 bottle per person ,
- i've been to Tijuana MX, and ohh my goodness that is the Mecca of all strip clubs, the only rule is , there is NO rules , and they play the whole song , and $1 can get you very far.
-- ohh well , i'm going out tonight to check out another strip club , i DeJa vu might be pretty good. hopefully its different.

Welcome to Seattle. The people who have lived here for a while are kinda glad that it's not very much like Tijuana. Everything you discovered about Ricks with your visit you could have discovered by reading this forum. When did you go? There are times when the place rocks, and there are times when it doesn't. I have never seen anyone "fully clothed" there doing lap dances.

Are you kidding me? Of course we would not like the northwest to be like Tijuana when it comes to some things, but we'd love the same strip club scene. At what cost? I don't know.
I don't see any reason we couldn't have more liberal (adult) entertainment options locally and still maintain our standard of living.
I've lived in Washington for over sixty years. I've mongered all over this country and others for forty plus years. I can tell you this- this state sucks for mongering compared to almost anywhere else.
At this point I'd give up some of what makes this country [so good] for a bit less for some better opportunities when chasing the pussy.

And that's why I live in Australia now...all legal, you get menus of what you want - no kidding. Was in Seattle last week...took forever to find a SW and come to find out that I was so lucky because of the stings going on...I won't EVER monger in Seattle again when visiting, just not worth it and besides I'll be going back to Australia anyway. So Seattle PD has won...good times of picking up SW of decent quality are LONG GONE. Risk vs. Reward is not good. I'd go up to Vancouver, BC...at least you won't get so hassled.
I'm a fellow hobbyist in the Indy area but travel some for work. I was in your city and did my homework to see what I should do with my one free night. Based on where I was that evening and what was available, I chose Honey's.
Even after reading the posts I wasn't quite sure what to expect. It sounds like there had been some LE pressure in the recent past and it isn't as good as it was. But I still didn't know how good or bad that was. But being in the mood to watch some girls dance, I punched the address into my GPS and found it easily.
The first thing I noticed was the neighborhood. With all of the massage parlors in the area reminded me of my travels to Dallas. There is a somewhat similar strip with clubs and AMP's. Back to the story.....I went in and paid my entry fee and as I walked past the register I quickly realized I was the only guy in there. Very awkward. The club itself is pretty basic - a large square room with a bar on one side and a small stage on the opposite side.
With in about 30 minutes there were a handful of guys trickling in and about 30+ when I left an hour and a half later. At first, I spent a fair amount of time chatting with different girls and getting 1 or 2 dances from them as I figured out the pricing and protocol. I'm not sure I really figured much out though. Dances were $20 I thought until I met "Chris" who charged me $30 each - but only told me that after we were ready to settle up.
The girls here were attractive, young and generally friendly. They weren't shy about asking if you wanted a dance. Some weren't shy about telling you how 'naughty' their dances were. Others were walking away as I was telling them "no thank you".
In reading this forum some of you sound disappointed with this place, but based on my travels I'd say you have a good balance of attractive girls and mileage. Their dance area is less than private but it works pretty well for what it is.
When I get back in town I may try another one of your clubs but if I'm up that way, Honey's is definitely on my list.

Was in Seattle for the day. Decided to visit the Sands during the day (3PM) and see if I can catch any of the recommended "performers" I. E. Luna.
As expected the place was slow. Three dancers and one other customer. What was not expected was the non-existent service. The girls did not acknowledge our presense. They were just talking to each other or on the phone.
When I approached them to just say Hello, in a very nice way, they walked away with no eye contact whatsoever. I consider myself a well groomed, reasonably dressed, and respectful person, so what gives?
The only explanation that I can come up with is that these particular girls only service 'select' clients and that they have a deal with management where they are only required to service those particular customers.
Any thoughts?

Any thoughts?[/QUOTE]I've had a couple of experiences at the Sands similar to yours. Sundays during the day are generally the worst time to go if you are not a regular, I've found. My best guess is that the girls are sometimes extremely cautious of men they haven't danced for before, in order to avoid the sort of LE scrutiny and problems that plague the Colacurcio clubs in town. Regardless of your grooming and appearance, sometimes they just get a "vibe" that you might be undercover. I'm not exactly a regular there, but I've been there enough to have got to know some of the long time dancers there, so if a dancer asks me who I've gotten dances with before and I can drop a few names, she's more likely to give a bit of mileage. Of course, if all the girls are completely ignoring you I guess you are pretty much out of luck.
As for deals with management, as far as I can tell the dancers are not under the same kind of obligation or pressure to give table dances as is typical at most other clubs. I guess as long as they pay their house rent they can dance or not dance as they please. I sometimes wonder how they make any money at all. One of my ATF's likes to do her college homework there at the bar. She's made enough off me on some days to pay her rent for the week, so I guess she knows what she's doing. Saturday late afternoons / early evenings have worked well for me in the past. If you get another chance to go I would suggest that as a better time.

Sometimes call girls work out of the clubs, and they might or might not choose to make some side money by lapdancing. This is more likely to be the case at Rick's. But not necessarily.
Or, as I found from one dancer at Honey's, they have regular clients at the clubs whom they have agreed to meet beforehand, and those are the only times they come in. Of course, their rates are beyond reasonable. Still, as long as some guys pay it, that's their going rate.
You're probably fortunate that they didn't interact with you. Most probably you would have received lame service for top rates. When stuff like this happens, just move on and don't worry about it. You want to find good dancers at good rates with good attitude.
Might as well name names. Sibyl at Honey's. She's not in all that often, but really, you don't need to pay that much. Besides, she has her regulars, so don't feel bad about passing :D
Went there Saturday evening. Things are quite a bit different now. It has been a while but the private booths being turned around to face the club is a buzz kill. The two farthest booths on either side of the stage are now the ones that give most privacy. I had dances from two girls. one is Jayden and the other one, I am blanking on the name. Both of them are tall, slim and cute. The first one is 19 and she is a local girl. All natural. Jayden had bolt-ons but well done. lot of stick shifting and very good contact but nothing more that for me. $20/dance. I do prefer getting a high mileage $20 dance over a $40 HJ from an ugly or smelly. So I left happy.
