Just saw their newest ad on backpage- they repeat over and over that they are not cheap but it is worth it.

With the wording of the ad, I would not be surprised if we see a bust there in the near future. They are really walking a close line with the wording. Repeated uses of the word happy.

If I remember correctly, the walls didn't go all the way up. The gal that was working there, worked at GQ and Pine for a while, and when she left them, she went to Miches'. I don't think she lasted there very long, but my friend said he was taken care of the the max. She let him backdoor her.

Had a massage today from a Japanese great grandmother. .8 at the door. Good massage. HR offered, and she whipped out her hooters w / o asking. Surprised they weren't down by her knees. She indicated nothing else was on the menu which is just as well. Not sure I had the stomach for anything more adventurous.

For same price as Pine I'd rather have a massage from a woman half her age that speaks Korean instead of Japanese.

Don't know how they have enough clients to stay open.

Unable to get any intel from her as I just saw her from a distance on my way back to the bathroom.

Went by the cozy in libertyville last Tuesday night. I was met by an asian lady that must have been 60 yrs. Old and looked pretty crusty. I asked her who else was available and she told me that "we" are not allowed to pick our girls there any more. So I said that's OK, I'll go somewhere else. And that is exactly what I did. These are some hard times for alot of people, and I'm just not going to throw my hard earned duckies around. So I went to the old trusty Pine and at least got an HJ from a decent looking older asian lady who bared it all for my enjoyment. .8 for the door and. 4 for a tip. Left a donation, was cleaned up, and given a happy thank you and a hug as I left. Will repeat. Again.

Would rather stick with a good thing. Especially hard to find younger talent up north here though. Kind of sad!

Lets drive these prices down-

I have only been to Bamboo once before, and they were fairly busy.

I could only get a half hour, and the MT was looking for a. 6 tip.

I said. 4, to which she agreed, but said she usually gets a. 6 tip for a massage. The massage wound up being very mechanical and about a 4 rating on a 1-10 scale.

Had an aching back and decided to hit Bamboo again.

I called ahead and set an appointment.

I had a soothing 1 hour massage.

When she discussed her tip, I said. 4.

She said. 6.

I said with a smile, no, that is ok, the massage is just fine.

She said ok, .4.

I said,"no, that is ok, the massage is fine"

Bottom line is that I held out and she was practically begging for the. 4 tip as the hour was nearing an end.

I held out and told her maybe next time, that talking about it so much was too much of a distraction and I was happy with the massage.

She grabbed my hand firmly and asked next time?

I said maybe, got dressed, and gave a. 10 tip for the massage and left with her saying next time? Next time?

Let me tell you-

You do not need to haggle.

You do not need to get bent out of shape.

You have the power to set the price.

If you argue, they know you really want to tip.

If you politely say no thank you, that is ok, giving the impression that you are just fine with a 1 hour massage, they will panic and try to talk you in to a tip.

They will think "oh my, I am getting no tip!" and all of a sudden think that anything they could get out of you is a "win".

3 times at different places, I have politely declined a high price by simply saying "no thank you" and each time they were practically begging for my first offered tip, and the results were fantastic.

On the flip side, before I figured that technique out, I had haggled a tip once. I got my way, but it was a mechanical massage that was nowhere near worth it.

You haggle and win, they feel like they lost and it is reflected in the massage.

If you politely decline, they will do their best to get you to change your mind, and they will work very hard to change your mind.

Give it a try guys- I am very pleased with this technique.

I have done my part to drive down the prices- now you guys need to do yours!
