I know that's totally overkill to most normal, sane mongers, but being a paranoid sissy with OCD sucks sometimes).

Now, stopping on Leisure or Van Doren to let a SW jump into or out of your car, that might get some attention, no matter what time it is. Rook77 still won't go back there after his failed subtle drop off attempt LOL. Not saying that MANY mongers (myself included) haven't scooped and dropped off back there without an issue, it's just a bit riskier.

The worst part is that in most areas you want to cruise around a bit to get a feel for the area before you even think about scooping, but doing so there will be attracting the attention you're trying to avoid. Do you hurry up and scoop a girl and GTFO of there, or cruise and make sure Uncle isn't parked behind the next car watching everything. It's a vicious cycle of paranoia LOL.

Licence plate too high, or too low, font tint strip too low, music too loud, how do you defend that in court? Once they have PC (probable cause) you are held up. Every. Freaking. Time.

They truly are thugs, no better than the worst of the criminals they purport to target, with the only difference being they get paid by other's taxes to wear a uniform, carry a badge, and are supported by the court system. They either grew up being bullies picking on the weak and defenseless, liked it, and got a job where they get to continue being a bully throughout their adult lives, or they were the smaller kids who got bullied. Either way, they're the sorriest excuses for human beings in existence.

So, yeah, going down Leisure or Van Doren late at night after business hours is asking to be stopped. Just driving down there is definitely 'not' probable cause to be stopped, but it's never stopped LE from stopping anyone before.

Not trying to start a debate on LEO, all I can say is there are good and bad at any profession. I've had terrible service at Starbucks, and another who went an extra mile to make me happy with my experience. If I bought a house on Van Doren 20 years ago, I'd be greatefull for the police in the area. Now that the area has become the shit hole of the county, we can't blame the po po for trying to clean it up. After all, as crazy as we all think the law is, we are still in that area to break the law. I for one do not want to live in a lawless societry, I'd run out of ammunition. Lol
