Has it ever happened to me, yes, but don't be surprised if you get alot of no's. I tend to be really picky about who I take upstairs and even then I don't always get good service.

Interested in just popping in for a day trip in TJ and using one of the agencies. I'll probably select those girls with cars. Are there any hotels / motels that you just use for the duration of the session (1-3 hours) checkout and pop back in to the US side. Has anyone done this?

Usually each escort has her own favorite love motel. You can ask which one she can go to. They usually cost about $40 for 4 hours, but give no in and out privileges. Once you go out you cannot come back in. They keep couples captive in those rooms so they can sell drinks and food.

Goodgirls have been using motel Encuentro near the golf course downtown, abiu t 3 miles from Hong Kong and $5 Uber ride. It's rented for all day, one of the cheapest motel deals in TJ, $33 weekdays and $55 Fri and Sat with in and out privilege, you can come and go as you want. They don't serve food or drinks there.

Other options are regular hotels, Caesar, Rio Rito, Ticuan near Ave Revo cost $80 - 120.

Yeah. Going to be that guy. Enjoying reading the reports of current day TJ. Have not been since 2008. Enjoying my memories of the good ol days. Stay at the Travellodge in San Ysidro for $50-60 a night. Clean and safe. Throw back several drinks in the room and head to TJ. Would just walk thru a gate stationed with a guy that might occasionally look up at you as you went in. Head towards the Caliente sports book and fetch a cab for $5. The magic words were " Adelita's por favor".

Five minutes later and some adventurous driving, we reached absolute heaven. $2 Tecates, beautiful senoritas for $40-60 a trip and $11 for the room directly upstairs. Everything appeared to be very safe and dangerous all at the same time. Not sure if the time I was spendingtime in TJ between 1997-2008 are considered the glory days, but it was before everyone had a camera in their pocket.

Those days are far in my rear view mirror, but I can only hope all of you are having even half the careless fun I had down there. Be safe.

In '96 Adelitas was still kind of a locals bar during the day and during nighttime hours early in the week. I think that helped keep prices in line. Chicago was more gringofied and, of course had higher prices.

The only info resources I found back then were the old alt. Sex. Prostitution. Tijuana board and the Juans Tijuana and TJ Amigos sites. And, of course, the Brokington O'Tool chronicles. Word didn't get out that much I'm guessing because not everyone had on-line capabilities. Ahhh, the good old days.

TJ was great in the 70's-2000's before 9/11, when you could get back and forth through the border with little if any traffic. Could get off work in downtown San Diego, hop in car and be in Unicorn in less than 30 minutes. Get the deed done, have a few cheap beers, and back home in no time.

You'll remember the Sans Souci and Bambi clubs across the street. Those were a lot of fun before they went TS. And even the Mexico Lindo near the Unicorno, some real babes on a Friday night.

And to date myself even further, I remember going to the Molino Rojo in the Zone in the 70's. Old time TJ strip club with live music also, popped my first TJ cherry there as an 18 year old. Scared as shit and the woman was probably 50 but who cares, a great memory!

Haven't been back down in a number of years, maybe need to go again for old times sake!

I would hang out at unicorn and the 2 around the corner Isis and I can never remember the name of the other one. Back in those days I new the zona norte existed, but after getting taken care of right in the booth I would lose desire to go looking for it.

These days I'm a weekly visitor. And I kind of find it funny in the very spot where those 3 favorite sleaze bars existed they have built a highrise condo. If I end up buying a condo there I feel like my life would have come full circle.

Hey everyone. I'm trying to navigate this whole process of getting across the border and getting to these places and all that. I have my passport and my little Mexico / Canada card. I'm kinda asking to be spoon fed a little bit, but I'm hoping there is a specific post # or primer or something (that's not too outdated) I can read.

Some specifics questions:

1. Drive vs walk across the border.

2. Top 2-3 clubs to go to.

3. Safety precautions.

4. Days / times most ideal.
