I had my best experience ever with an AMP today at Tokyo. I've been there many times over the years, with hit-and-miss luck of a good massage and possible extras (nothing ever more than a HE). Today was a revelation. 'm guessing it's because I had a little more money to tip. YMMV, of course. Just wanted to share the joy I experienced today.

I just happened to be right down the street working, driving past I decided suddenly I needed a massage.

I had been a few times to see Violet who was good, but is now gone. Today is the last time I go to Holistic, sadly. There's a new crop of providers there, although for the sake of not having to wait an excessive amount of time even though I had an appointment with someone else I went with Jasmine. So right off the bat I felt like we were in bait and switch territory.
The session starts with her repeatedly saying she was about to get the other girl, even though I said I was okay with her doing the massage. She stayed on and off her phone for the entire session. At one point she was just moving her finger on the top of my foot and texting with the other hand. The massage itself, when she was actually giving one and not texting, was not terrible, but I have to say every time I've been to Tokyo, with maybe one or two exceptions, I have gotten a better massage. The real disappointment was in the HE. I booked Nuru and did not get anything close to that. She kept all underwear on and when I asked about Nuru said that everyone's Nuru is different. All I got was a standard HE. For the rates, which are slightly higher than Tokyo, this is a complete waste of time and money.
As a side note, the walls are really thin there. During about the second half of my session I could hear one of the other clients singing, and I mean really belting out some notes. It sounded like choir practice in there, which killed the mood further but by that point I was just amused by it. They take payment up front, so I knew it was gone already so I might as well just laugh and move on. Also I booked an fh and got slightly less than hh. She even had the nerve to ask for a tip. I saw someone a while back on the board who was concerned if they are legit or LE. They are legit as far as that goes, but I would in no way recommend this place. Memphis has much better options.

Both places are affiliated. They both offer table showers. On occasion, you can get a decent massage depending on who you get. They like to upsell you on more time. You've got to get out and beat the bushes. This is an expensive hobby, but if you put in your due diligence, you will be rewarded nicely when the time comes. Do yourself a favor and stay away f from Ocean, Golden Hands, and all those A Great Massage locations all over town. Any place that offers a foot massage is a no go too. Seek out independent licensed massage therapists that have private offices or work from home. That, my friend, is where you will strike gold.
It's been a while since I've been to the Q and it's still a consistent place that's clean, decent massage, and no hassle finish.
I appreciate the recent reviews of Tokyo, but I know myself and if I pay the house fee plus $ for a HH visit with a BJ I'm going to regret it. 170 is not a good value in my book considering most decent escorts are less and provide more. I'd prefer a massage provider, but Tokyo hasn't been in the massage business lately, it sounds like a big upsell to me.

I've received great walk-on the back massages and sometimes great extras. You just never know depending on the current crop of ladies and boss.
