I think another factor that makes it seem like too much work is when you end up wasting time on girls who have no intention of meeting, ever. Sometimes they are scammers, sometimes they really think online only is an option. Either way, somewhere between the profile and the 4th or fifth message onsite, these girls have revealed themselves as a waste of time. Shut them down, block them and move on. They will never meet.
