For those interested in discussing another topic. And perhaps venting about another aspect of the hobby that annoys them, I would be delighted to present one: The CONTACT ME verbiage on a donation page.

I've found in my limited hobbying experience that I like it when a provider has their own personal website. It gives access to a few pics and gives at least some relative assurance that the sp is not LEO and it's a sign that they take this serious and are going to be somewhat professional.

But, what I DO NOT like is when they have a space for a donation amount and instead of an amount it says "contact me".

In most cases, what I am looking for is information. That amount is an important piece of that information. I'd prefer to know it prior to contacting you.

I understand that things change and that number may not be set in stone. But, ladies, we are talking about donation rates for your time and companionship. Not energy futures. I can't imagine that they would fluctuate so wildly that you could not update a website every so often. Do us a favor. Give us some intel!

No, SP's don't have to make change like a hot dog vendor. If you can't bring the right amount then THROW IT IN AS A TIP!
