Hi Guys, I moved from SD 13 years ago. First time I went to TJ as an "adult" was when I was 16,50 years ago. We would go to the Unicornio with the live band and eat next door at Chiki Jai. Or Tortas for 25 cents back in the 70's.

My buddies say I'm nuts to even go to TJ. I miss TJ and can't wait to get back. There has been some car break in's. But I don't believe it is a big problem. You might to consider parking at one of the trolley stops or parking at a paid lot near downtown. Personally I never drive in TJ. It is simply not worth the trouble of having to wait crossing the border. There is also the issue of having to pay for Mexican insurance, The biggest issue is that cops look for gringos to extract bribes for. Finally it is much easier to walk to Zona or take a taxi van.
