My point is that there was an inflection point a couple of years ago. To my observation, it was both asking prices rising AND many many fewer students and young professionals on the site. I had so many undergrads and grad students and young professionals from SA in the 2015 to Covid era. Today I just see essentially no college undergrads or grad students on there any more.
I'm quite sure that students and young professionals need rent help at least as much in 2026 as they did in 2019. But, by my observation, they are NOT turning to sex for money via Seeking essentially at all, and certainly not as often as we saw such people on SA back then. So yes "the economy is bad," but I am pretty sure that the page has turned and that entire demographic is no longer interested in sex for money at any price. I don't they they are on another site. Or freelancing. But I am happy to be proven wrong.

I know a young woman can put a profile up on Seeking and within minutes get contacted by dozens of men. . . At least some of whom will pay them a "reasonable" amount for sex.

I can't figure out what the "average" is now for a student / young professional, as I don't really seem them on the site much at all.
Back in 2018 or so I did an experiment and tried an 800 undergrad. Body was incredible, she was very pretty, but the sex was not twice as good as the 400 girls. Not any better in fact. (Because of course price does not correlate to talent.) But at least I did the experiment. (And never went above my ceiling price again.).

It's an additional income stream without having to take any safety risks, meeting strange men and having sex with them. They can take a few pics in the comfort of their own home. And OnlyFans has become much more normalized now and with social media, many will promote it via TikTok lives to push followers towards their instagram which will then have their onlyfans link. There are some pages that apparently don't even have explicit content, you will pay for access to basic pictures that are sexy but then have to pay additional per pic or video that is explicit. It's easy money because they make money from TikTok with those silly gifts people give in live streams and then they push people to their onlyfans so they make money there too.
