There's no way they could have any real info about me or my family. And another reason why I NEVER give out real information to anyone that asks. If any escort asks for my real name, driver's license, work info, or anything else, I just say "no thank you" and move on to the next girl.

If you are using you real number it's easy to just enter your number to Google and get your name, address, relatives, and emails you use.
Once they have that they blackmail you. A real hit man costs 20 k plus. They aren't going to send one to you for making someone miss 140 or least. Doesn't make any math sense. This number is from people getting busted by stings for hitmen.
It happened to me but it has stopped.

So when the text came in demanding money, I told them to FFF off.

It links to your current number but no way to trace it back. You can also just set it to not send calls / texts to your phone and use the service independently. Been using it for like 10 years without a problem.
Only issue is that some agencies know its a google voice and will require a real number but fine in 90% of cases.
