I finally gave up on any of the other places in the area getting any better (Japan Sauna, Beyond-2005, VIP, Royal, Yuuna) and decided to go back into Sun Spa to see if it was still as disappointing as when Amy and Hannah-Lisa had just departed for good (which was last summer). I had settled on the idea that Star Sauna, on 26th Street in Bradenton, was about the best place in the area for the price (always 80+120 for me), and kept going back there for a while. However, as is always the case, I get bored with the same ole, same ole, even if Sunny keeps a reasonable rotation of talent. So. . . A little over three weeks ago, I thought I'd try Sun Spa again. The same Mamasan, Kimberly, is still there (Amy brought her on a few years ago and actually "trained" her to do the Mamasan job), and she instantly recognized me and greeted me with warm smiles while telling me that she will "take good care of me. " On that visit I saw Lindsey, who was much younger and had a very nice figure and face with a service level that was fair-to-midland for a first time visit. I assumed she might get better with repeat visits, so my hopes were up.

On my NEXT visit, just 12 days later, Lindsey was gone and Kimberley clued me in that she was "too money grubbing", which I took to mean that she wouldn't work for the $120 tip I have ALWAYS left at this place for the last 5+ years, and that Kimberly "took care of me" by, most likely, paying her MORE money out of the $80 house fee. No surprise that Lindsey is not likely to be invited back by Kimberly! So on my second visit, I had [U]Sharon[/U] (first time I've ever had THAT name for a chosen AMP name). Sharon was, at first glance in the dim room, rather cute and EXTREMELY passionate and flirty (DFK from the first minute and lots of hugging and groping permitted and encouraged). In the better light of the "after time clean up", I could see she was older than I first believed (probably in her late 30's or 40's), and she behaved as though she might have had some sort of right nipple deformity (hiding that part at all times and sometimes none too discreetly), but she was honestly quite a lot of fun and I would repeat with her, although not on a constant basis as I would be inclined to do with the long-lost Hanna-Lisa!

I suppose my assessment is that Sun Spa is about as good as any other place I've been in the area, and since Kimberly knows me so well, my comfort level is also elevated. When Star Sauna and Sunny have one of their Top Performers working, that's probably a better bet, but with no BP ads to check the current staff, you'd have to call them to ask who's working to better assess your options. While calling is not a big deal for me, it's just one more little bother that I'm less likely to go through, but that's just me.

I agree that Star was about the best choice after our gals left Sun, but I avoid Cortez Road. The traffic is horrible and the drivers (especially during in-season) are awful.

I visited Sun first thing this morning.

I was met at the door by Sharon. She was as MRBill described, fun and passionate. Great attention where it was needed. She also didn't mind when things got to pounding pretty hard. She did hide her right breast during my visit, but was happy to have me play with the left.

I wonder if Mamasan (Kimberly, at least that's what she went by when I first met her when she was still new, several years ago) has had to bring in more 'costly' talent that's used to getting MORE than 120 tip at whatever other cities they're coming from? The ones she had last summer were those 40-50 year old "ladies" that didn't inspire a lot of desire on my part to return. . . Nor, probably, anybody elses, which is why (I'm purely guessing) she may have sought better talent.

That also may explain why Mamasan keeps telling me (at least 4-5 times at each of my two recent appointments) that she will "take care of me"! I'm now thinking that she's letting the girls take 140 out of the 200 I bring with me and she's only getting 60, instead of 80, for the house fee. If that's really the case, I have two thoughts about it. . . First, I really appreciate that she would do that, but, second, I'm not real thrilled about the girls gouging the house either. Makes me want to just go somewhere else.

The potential problem with "somewhere else" may be that pricing may be on the way up at other places too. The AMP's at Mead, HongShun, and the two on Gulf Gate are already trying (not always succeeding) to get 160 tip on top of 80 house fee, and those girls, while better than 40-50 year old "ladies" are still not the caliber of the super-hotties in Tampa and Pinellas that command that same rate, nor do they perform in the same outrageously nyphomaniacal manner that the young girls do at Golden Gate, Blue Ocean, and (to a slightly lesser extent) [I]U[/I] Massage in Orlando.

I stopped back into [B]Sun Spa[/B] last Friday (May 25) at opening time of 10 am and Mamasan greeted me once again. I asked for [B]Sharon[/B], whom I had seen before (see report below), rather than risk asking for another girl, if one was available, as I didn't feel like breaking new ground with a new / unknown girl. Sharon came to my room just as I finished undressing, and I never did see any other girl, but there could well have been another attendant out of my sight the entire time. It's always nice to know that they have a steady enough stream of business to assure they don't close down for lack of traffic, thereby also assuring that they'll at least BE there when I want to go! I do think that the positive experiences most patrons had with Amy and Lisa-Hannah (when they were there) worked to keep them there quite a while. On the other hand, maybe they each made SO FREAKIN' MUCH MONEY that they were able to 'retire' from the business earlier than any of us wanted! That's something to ponder!

I haven't personally experienced being turned away at Sun in ages, but if things get too busy there, I'll either be up at Star Sauna or I will need to invest a little more driving time and head to other areas, like Pinellas County, Tampa, or Orlando (I still haven't found any gems in the Ft. Following MrBill469 reports, I decided to give Sun a try. At one time it had been my "go to" place, but the quality had fallen off.

Called first to make sure not busy and was assured so, but just my luck someone was walking in their door when I drove up.

Anyway, probably due to the favorable reports, they found it necessary to get another gal on duty. I did meet Sharon, who gave me a table shower. MrBill's reports about her were spot on.
