I got to reminiscing about the good old times I had in Nashville's former AMPs so I decided to take a daytrip to a nearby parlor to relive the memories. In a hundred fifty mile radius of the city I could find reviews on about 8 parlors scattered in 4 different directions. Checking various threads on this board and other boards it soon becomes apparent that all of them are very hit or miss type establishments. But after comparing reviews and considering other options I decided that Natural Spa at Exit 135 off I-24 on Monteagle would be my best bet. This SPA is very clean and in a somewhat private location but it does share a parking lot with a gas station and BBQ place. Fortunately, you don't have to stand outside the building until someone lets you in. Instead you go straight into a foyer where you meet your masseuse. This is nice since it allows you to see and talk to her before paying for your massage, my masseuse was an attractive 30ish petite Korean woman. House fees are. 6 for half hour and. 8 for hour. A TS (that is TS in AMP parlance) is available and an average back rub with a back walk was provided. Appears to be a 3 level tip process for various levels of additional service going from the basic upgrade to the top level service. I only inquired about levels 2 & 3 which runs $ and $.4 respectively (may be negotiable). I took level 2 and was pretty happy with the service. I could see myself doing a repeat visit here the next time I get melancholy for an AMP experience.

Visited swan spa, exit 161 off of I-24, late last week. Located behind the fireworks warehouse, it was very clean & easy to find. Saw a petite, fairly attractive Korean who appeared to be in her late 30s, possibly 40. Received a ts and a decent 1/2 hr massage for the standard rate. On the flip, I learned that all menu items were available. Chose the standard HE. As my hands roamed with no objections, I soon discovered that she didn't have on anything under her dress. Very nice. The HE itself was good. The delivery was unrushed, although there seemed to be a lack of enthusiasm for the task. Of course, YMMV.

Originally, I was scheduled to head north through KY & IN to IL. But a change of plans sent me to the Chattanooga area. I wish I'd gone north, because then I would've been able to stop in Louisville.
