If you are driving, I recommend leaving your car in the parking lot and crossing. Take the "Last US Exit", turn right, then right again immediately into the first parking lot. From the bus stop in front of the parking lot, you can take the Mexicoach directly into Tijuana. Cost is $3 dollars, or you can pay $5 for round trip ticket. Cheaper, easier, and safer than walking. The Mexicoach station is on Revolution near 7th, but you can ask to get off at 2nd and Rev.

If you are coming in on the Trolley, you can take the SDMTS bus '907 via San Ysidro' ($2.25) or walk west over the overpass to the parking lot, then grab the Mexicoach (Be advised, lately it has not been running on Saturdays).

A very real advantage to using the Mexicoach on the return is that they take you to a special entrance wwith very short lines.

If you do need to take a cab in Tijuana, I advise only using the TaxiLibre's, and ALWAYS negotiate the price up front. Centro to the border should NEVER be more than $5. Centro to the Airport about $10. (Mexicoach will take you from the parking lot to the Airport for about that too.

I'm going on Sunday on a solo run by myself but might have a running buddy if the doesn't flake again! How are the lines on Monday mourning about 3 am, and how are the sg and bg? Any recanmedations?

It is easier to find a hotel, and some have lower prices Sun-Thur. Sun pm is the worst time to cross back, but almost empty a 3 am. Rent-by-the-hour hotels are OK, but I recommend a midrange like. Lleyva. Around $25. Includes parking. More importantly, you have greater security, a good shower, a place you can leave stuff while you cruise. Most importantly, staff isn't watching the clock. If you have the stamina to make multiple contacts, it is actually cheaper than are-be-T-H hotels.

I went to Hong Kong weekend before last. I went with a buddy on a whim as we were visiting SD. I had only researched enough to know that HK was considered the best in town. It did not disappoint. I had not seen anything like the shaving cream / soap shows before. When we got there we just caught the last couple minutes of one. The girls were sliding over the stage and lightly rubbing on each other. We stayed long enough to see another show. This time the girls actually went down on each other and used dildos on each other. My understanding is that all (most all?) HK girls quote $80 these days. And probably hold firm on weekend nites. You probably could have skipped the $20 tip, however, unless you were trying to build a long-term relationship.

It's the oldest issue on these forums. How to keep the prices down. The market in Nogales was destroyed by a flood of over-generous college boys coming down from Tucson. The women got spoiled. For reasons passing understanding, the women would pass three or four $50 offers to get one $70 offer. Then began passing 2 or 3 $70 offers holding out for the $90 offer. I was astonished how small the Zona was in Nogales. With Phoenix and Tucson within relatively close access, the Zona there should be hopping. Instead, it is a pathetic, dismal affair. After all, why would one go there when comparable services are available locally. The same thing happened in Cabo and Ensenada. After the cruise ships started coming in, the market was ruined.

In 20 years visiting Tijuana, I have never paid more than $50 for short time. I have NEVER tipped. HK can be fun. They put on quite a show. My friend recently got BBBJ in the private room for $20, and got short time the next night for $60. My advice is to party at HK, then head down to Adelitas for some $50 short time. Remember, the average Bar girl there is already making more than the avg Mexican doctor, even at the $50 rate. Make $50 your ceiling price and stick with it, even on Fri / Sat.

I always parking on street in San Ysidro. There is plenty of street parking on Border Village Rd. Border Village Road runs parallel to San Ysidro Blvd. This located where the Kentucky fried chicken is located. The parking Border Village Rd is 2 hour parking. But you can park all day by the Goodwill or by the strip mall where Oreilly auto parts is located. I have never had any problems and a cop told me that auto thefts is not a problem.

But when a woman has sat around two or three hours with nol nibbles, $50 starts to look pretty good. I usually ignore the hotties. Performance is often lack-luster because they don't have to. Hold your ground.

As to parking in th daytime, I think the writer is correct. Why pay? Two suggestions though. Never leave any bags in your car, and have an alarm which has a light. I actually parked on the streets in Tijuana for years. Got robbed several times until I put in the alarm, then I noticed they would rob all the cars around me, but left mine alone.

Is a Passport required to get back across the border, or can you still get back across without one? I have not been to Tijuana since 2009, and then they were talking about making Passports the rule, but I don't know if it actually took effect.

The law has been a financial disaster for the border towns, and a major headache for the Border cops.

You can now go to Tijuana with only a valid drivers license. I don't know if they actually recinded the law, It's still best to have a passport. Here's a tip: Scan your DL, Birth Certificate, and Passport, then e-mail them to yourself. If your stuff is stolen or lost. You can at least show the authorities a facsimile.

I live in both Rosarito and San Gabriel valley. Every time I pass through Tijuana on my way to Rosarito I walk through zona norte. Past two months have " hired " four non-pros. They have all been on the outer edges of zona norte in regular street clothes. Only one was baring her girls and that was because she was a large cee. Got GFE from each one. But I'd like to hear more about where exactly you located these "non-pros". I have to assume you are not referring to the "walkers" who move about both the traditional SG line-ups but also wander to the fringes and actually you can run into them anywhere in downtown Tijuana. I don't think you're referring to them because you said their looks were above average. Some of the walkers might qualify for that description after a month in rehab and 5 days soaking and scrubbing in a hot bath. They are typically drug addicted deportees who are the most hardcore of the hardcore living off of $5 BBBJ and $10 BBFS and BB en la Culo. Being deportees or at least runaways from US law, they speak excellent English. Their game is to buddy up with gringos and act like they aren't hookers if you don't show interest in them in that way. You didn't just encounter 1 of these anomalous sounding non-pros but 4 of them in brief time you've spent passing through over just a couple of months. Please do tell more details about where exactly they are lurking and how the initial encounter is scripted?

I will be in Tijuana tomorrow for the first time in way too long. Unfortunately I won't get to the zona at all and I hate it when that happens. I only have 24 hours and all circumstances considered, I must spend them with my own non-pro novia of the last 7 years.
