Hi Guys,

Long time without posting. I got back from Iraq a short while ago. It is really sad and pathetic when the local law enforcement officials have to waste there time going after these women.

There are the usual excuses, I. E. Human trafficking, gang activity, cited by the police. Weak, just weak. As far as the tip is concerned, my guess is that some guy used his credit card and his wife found about it. Or he had a city charge card like the guy in Jersey a couple of years back and he was using it in Philly AMPs.

I used to see guys go out the wire every day in Iraq, not knowing if they were gonna come back. Those men and women are heroes. I don't know what you would call the cops fighting these criminal activities. That is some tough duty sitting back and getting massages with drug activity, murder and other serious crime going on. Well done gentleman.commendations all round!

You are right brother it's a quick and easy coup for law enforcement. It's a lot easier going up against an Asian woman than a drug dealer who might be packing.

I was wondering if anyone had received any extras at any AMPs besides the usual HJ.

I know from past , personal experience that LEO and WSOC news will sensationalize a story , just to make the headlines. Then after the news is made , and your name is out for everyone to see, strangely enough the DA has to drop the charges, because of lack of evidence. Of course ,THIS never makes the news !! This has happened to me, and if not for more publicity, which I really didn't want or need , my lawyer said I had a pretty good case to sue them . But I decided to drop it and let the whole thing " blow over ". They can arrest and charge you with whatever they want, and the news reports this as fact, and insinuates that your already guilty. What happens when you go to court , never seems to make the news , if they don't get the conviction they were planning on. What I've learned thru personal experience ,take little stock in the stories you on the news!

I am not sure if they are just making headlines, but they did mention on the news last night about going after some of the customers based on CC receipts. So, if you ever paid with a CC, you may be getting a visit from Leo!

No way they can ever make a charge stick.

All of the local news channels including wsoc, still have the video of the story on line. None of them mention anything about customers and credit cards and police going after johns. One article does mention someting about customers on video camera.

I found this board when I was searching for info on AMPs in Charlotte about 6 weeks ago during a visit to some family there. I didn't bother asking for any advice at the time as I skimmed enough to see that first time posters are sometimes viewed with understandable suspicion.

But just reading a few pages of posts on here gave me a fairly good idea of which places seem to be consensus favorites and what the general routine is.

I'm on the way back to Charlotte again tomorrow (Wednesday) for another short visit and I'd really like to visit an AMP this time. Reading about the recent LE activity at one place, it sounds like the timing of my visit isn't ideal.

So I'm curious if the service at any other places has been temporarily affected/curtailed because of this most recent incident. I understand this might be a delicate question at the moment, given the present climate, so I won't be offended if no one wants to answer, but I'm still curious.

I have a second question, if anyone is feeling particularly generous with info. The place I most want to try, just superficially based on the number of mentions I recall on here when I last checked, is Lily's. Unfortunately, that might be a little too far for me to easily get to. I'm going to be staying in the Myers Park area. I can't imagine there are any AMPs too close, but I'm curious what the closest decent places are. I'm familiar with the general location of the places on Woodlawn (it's on the way to/from the airport from where I stay), so I guess I'm wondering if one of those would be my best bet or if there's someplace else closer/better.

Thanks in advance, and if this is a bad time to be asking these kind of questions, I understand, and I hope my next post will be some kind of trip report, successful or not.

Channel 36 did mention the credit card use. Most likely if someone has been using there card numerous times over a short period of time they may be getting a visit. Also I doubt that the owner would keep credit card records on the property for more than a month or so. Personaly I only went to Island Spa once and was not offered any extras. I Look alot like leo may have been the reason and it was back when they first opened.

The few times I have dreamed of going to these places, I always used cash as to not leave a paper trail. With that said, how can paying with a credit card prove any wrong doing on the part of the customer? It can't. Just because illegal activity may or may not have been going on doesn't mean you partook or even knew about anything. Hell, I have to use a credit card at the supermarket but that doesn't mean I shoplifted anything.

They may just be trying to cause a panic among hobbyist. I am fairly new, and have dreamed of going only a few places due to being very leary. They may figure if they pay a few people a visit, word gets around, and they put a dent in the business. I also always use cash to avoid any type of paper trail. Heck, we had a local religious leader get busted because he paid a provider with a check!

Your worries are unfounded. The paper trail is cold, and besides a misdemeanor must be witnessed by LE, and there is little else for them to go on. The yellow press has balled this story up so badly, I doubt we will hear much more about it. Slaves indeed!!!!

Hi guys,

I have several reports, but in light of last weeks events I don't want to get anyone in trouble or have a business shut down. Visited a spa yesterday and have been to four including the late Island Spa within the last week. Interested members with posted reports under his belt can pm and I will share information. I apologize ahead of time to the newbies For the time being I don't want this information out there for Uncle Leo to justify there jobs to the general public by saying they are stopping human trafficking or the sex slave trade.

I have a couple trip reports from the past couple days during my short visit to Charlotte. But, like Sgt. Steel, I'm pretty reluctant to go into much detail right now due to the present environment.

It's best not to mention the places I visited by name, but both are places that I think have been mentioned frequently on this board. I don't have any previous experiences in Charlotte with which to compare, but my feeling was that I was greeting with more caution than is usual, even for someone's first visit. The fact that I'm an out-of-towner could have been a factor in that too.

Nonetheless, I enjoyed both visits and I'm looking forward to checking out some other places the next time I come to town. If anyone has any questions (unlikely), feel free to pm me. Ditto if anyone has any questions about places in San Francisco.

Somebody please help me out here and let me know of any latina connections I can find. Help would be appreciated thanks. PM me if needed.
