Honestly, I have found that if you want something fairly local you will need to put in A LOT of work looking and developing it. For all the work, I ended up with some really fun times but very hit or miss. I have ended up biting the butler for the most part and driving to the Metro Area for the sure thing and on my schedule.

Don't forget, you now live in the Bible Belt. Everyone watches everyone else. Best bet is to drive to drive to Atlanta area. Only 90 minutes away when everything is 90-120 minutes away. There isn't much in Chattanooga that is desirable. Maybe you will find a unicorn, but I haven't.
