In my neverending quest for variety, I've found a few problems. Mainly, because my time is limited, I pass up dates with girls that have made it into my rotation, to meet with pots. Two ladies have gone dark after I tried to reschedule dates with them in order to meet up with new pots.
I went out on a date with a pot that I thought I had sealed the deal with. We had previously m&ged and confirmed that she was interested in an FC trip. Value may not matter depending on how long you're in town.

Dude! You need others to convince you to operate outside of your comfort zone? If you aren't comfortable: Stay out of the game! Spidey Senses usually serve one well in the hobby and it is when one avoids or ignores the Spidey Senses that trouble begins.
That said, the kind of apprehension that comes through in your post could spell trouble if you contact the wrong girl. Find a hardened girl and she'll sense your fear and will use it to exploit you. I had two meets set for yesterday.

If you need a copy of the bill, email them or stop by the next day in person. You can even keep the key cards if you want.

Especially if you book through and OTA, they are eager to toss your cheap ass out of the hotel and won't assume you are extending your stay.
The less contact you have with hotel staff the better.

I do ascertain on checking in whether they will send me any paper work or thank you letter afterwards. I couch the request by saying that the address on my license is my old one, so if they want to send me snail mail I need to give them my current (bogus) address. I've been in the Bowl over five years, but even so I still ask every time upon checking in. Never once have they asked for my "new" address nor have I had anything follow me home. In my experience even a nice boutique hotel doesn't send any follow up paper mail, only an email, and since I always give them my Sugar Email, it's all golden.
That said, I do have a fake version of my "signature" that doesn't look a thing like my real signature which I use when signing the check-in paperwork, just in case it all hits the fan. As I said a long time ago, if you are married and in the Bowl, you need to maintain an ironclad Secret Identity. You are for all intents and purposes a double agent under deep, deep cover.

I've got to get away from these stippers. I had a run of them on this site in October. I'm weeding out the last few. I had a meet with one yesterday after she flaked a week prior.
