Payment Apps & IRS -- My $. 02
Beginning January 1, 2022, all third-party payment processors in the United States are required to report payments received for goods and services of more than $600 a year. So if you have a Zelle, Cash App, Venmo, Paypal account and you receive more than $600 in total receipts for calendar year 2022 you'll receive a 1099-K sent from that app service. If you have a side business you'd be wise to document all the e-payments.
Although cash transaction for hobby work is always the best option, I don't believe the hobby is in trouble. Providers may have to receive donations in other ways. Here is a link to the actual IRS instructions for the 1099-K: https://www.irs.gov/businesses/understanding-your-form-1099-k.
Here is what the actual form looks like: https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/f1099k.pdf.
In the situation of a small business (like my consulting business), All transactions, especially income and expenses, are documented in my QuickBooks Self-Employed account. Payments received via PayPal or anywhere else wind up in my company bank account. Individual clients with whom I have a continuing relationship send me a 1099 at the end of the year. Regardless of how they pay me, it all eventually winds up being reported.
I have one client who pays me with gift cards. That company will now have to file a 1099-K if the gift card is over $600.
I'm thinking that a lot of ladies will stop using PayPal and other similar apps. But, this hobby has persisted through thick & thin, so I think we'll be fine.
Agree 100% (use Reddit as a reference, not USASG)
This had me pause when I realized I was at the one in Reston for a M&G LOL.
Had a good lunch and some car fun with the possible SB. After we had finished our fun she had mentioned how there is a website a SD told her about where they review SB and trade numbers. And how she was creeped out a random SD had reached out. JFC, there a a thousand things to talk about with a SB why does this site have to be one of them.
Some SB's will talk your ear off, and others can be quiet. So I understand why some guys want to discuss SD / SB dating, it's just something we have in common with them. I think it makes both parties more comfortable and it usually leads to some crazy stories. But please do not reference this forum! Just say you read about SB's on Reddit, they have a ton of threads there.
It's the other side of the story
Obviously they do have forums where they talk about us, or have small group of friends who do sugaring and they talk techniques to counter SDs, get more out of us while giving less, how to overcome not being attracted to SD, etc. It is interesting reading some of these reddit threads. Some of these bitches give advice to close eyes and imagine about money your'e getting paid. I'll admit I had my share of SBs who I could tell are not attracted to me at all and trying to just get through it. I don't last with these bitches for longer than first date.
Recently I had a SB who I met for a very reasonable amount first time, she offerred it, and we had great sex. I knew she liked it and she wanted to continue, then she asked me for more money before the next meet, she said her friend is getting more and she could be getting paid more, she had the audacity to say I am benefiting from it more than her. Well, she didn't know I have 4 other SBs who are willing to meet me in any given week, and I didn't need to raise the price unless I really wanted her again even at high price. I told her nicely I can't at the moment, then she threatened to drop me by saying good bye etc, fast forward a few days she comes back saying sorry, but can we meet again, just that she needed some guarantee we'll see regularly every week, blah blah. I turned her down because of her flaky behavior and her greed for money instead of just enjoying the good time when she was having it. This is an issue in sugar world with both men and women, sometimes we don't know a good thing, because there is always something else in the candy jar that we could be having.
In one of the other cities I play I know that there is some sort of SB portal. On a recent trip I had three chicks lined up. One for each night. On the first night the chick said "I know you have lots of girls here" in a way that was a bit disturbing. I got ghosted the next two nights. Both girls were " on their way".
I do see a chick that has spent time in the DMV. She offered to introduce me to other girls. I would not be surprised if she knows about this site. I don't bring it up as I don; t want to risk fucking my thing up. She's already hooked me up with one of her friends.
Whenever I hear them use a certain lingo like "traditional" you know they're talking to some other girls about this in some way or another.
