HK and Chicago Club are both back open after one night offline.

They were not even 21, shy types that found HK bar too overwhelming and preferred the smaller venue and crowds of Adelitas. DDG to my eyes.
Spent the night in TJ with one of my HK girls and everything was business as usual. Hong Kong and Chicago club are fully up and running. Chicago only has part of their hotel closed off due to the fire that broke out the other day.

Friday night I had to make a quick run back to the states. At 10 pm there was no one in line at San Ysidro and the walkover, trip home and back took less than an hour. The longest wait was for the Uber. Literally just kept walking as fast as I could from the pedestrian drop off, through the turnstile, 60 second passport scan and out the other end. Yesterday afternoon on the return trip, the Sentry lane was flying at OTAY, the Ready / General lane was about a 2 hour wait for both in traffic. None of the reported migrant crowds seem to be making the legal crossing any different than the norms.
The revelry in Rosarito was also subdued. While there were a lot of folks, there was none of the huge crowds I've seen in the past.
Sunday afternoon / evening was pretty dead in the zona. Parking was easy and none of the sidewalk crowds were blocking my way. Since I was already with a pretty latina providing GFE, I didn't do any mongering this trip.
Part of the return home excitement was watching cops pulling cars out of line for attempting to cut into the return line. You hear the honking, you hear the sirens, you don't hear the "Oh shit" when the cop tells you its a $120 fine, payable in cash, on site. Or you can follow him to the jail. Saw 6 or 7 cars following the flashing lights. Always find the end of the line for the return trip.
That all being said, Global Entry makes the crossing much easier and faster anytime. Worth the investment if you monger often down south.

All you need is GE when returning to the USA. If you're driving across your vehicle needs to also be enrolled in the system on your GE profile.

If you're walking south you need a passport or passport card. If you don't have you'll likely pay the FMM fee.
If you're driving you most likely won't be stopped.
Entering USA you only need GE card.

I personally go with my passport card to get into Mexico cause they might give you a hard time if you don't have it. Basically will have to bribe them probably from what I here. The FMM is separate no? You have to have that regardless of entry, cause I had my passport card and they still demanded one. You can print out a free one that last 7 days or buy the 25-35 dollar one that 6 months. I use my GE to get into America because you literally cut the entire line. Traveling to Mexico I recommend a Passport card (easy to keep in a wallet) GE because I say no to the line and the free FMM.

Just want to know if I can get in and out of Mexico with just my GE card so I don't have to drag my passport book with me when I go to zona norte.
Hola amigo, I have crossed dozens of times in both my car and walking. If you are driving they 99% won't stop you and check your credentials, but if you are walking they will 99% check your passport book / card. They don't give a shit about your GE card. If you're walking and don't have passport be prepared, as they will likely send you to the cashier and extort you $30 for"FMM fee", which is technically free and is legally required if you're in country for less than 7 days, but no fee unless your stay is greater than 7 days. Personally, I always carry my passport card and GE card. The only time MX CBP ever wanted my FMM form was for a flight I took from aeropuerto TIJ. Suerte.

Suerte.[/QUOTE]Exactly what happened to me, I told them I was staying 3 full days only. In the room the guy simply takes my 30 dollars and put in a a drawer. I got no FMM, just told you can go.
Under the table money to me is more than the hourly wage. I wish I could make 30 an hr under the table every hr at a min.

I would not want to get a stamp on it. Especially.
If I was in tj while My sig other was out of town. That would raise all kinds of red flags. I don't need that. I'd need to show the passport but not get it stamped.
Do they normally stamp the book or just look at it??
When you hand over your passport you can say "no estampa por favor" and slip a small donation inside the book. Though, from what I've seen they usually just look at it and hand it back, no stamp, but you never know. Just watch the people in line in front of you and see what they're doing.

9 times out of 10 they won't stamp it. Like previously mentioned, also try to see what they're doing to the people in front of you that also have a passport.
At the end of the day we're all men, worst case scenario explain to the guy checking passports that you don't want the wife to see a stamp on your booklet. He will most likely get a kick out of it, laugh and hand your passport back to you.
