Rants, Raves and Opinions AKA "The Octagon"

I'd say 90% of the time I do a PM request, and I only do that because there are people who will text and say they are a member here, give a providers name as a reference --Any person can pick any senior member who has left a review and then give the name of the provider they reviewed as a reference. Lurkers have tried this numerous times (and Uncle LEO could do the same). I don't like reference checks because I am avail 24 hours, I can't do this at 2-5 am. Plus most ladies do not reply anyway.

I prefer a PM. Prior to lurkers doing what I mentioned above, I did just go based off of checking the account / posts.

I think a PM request is fair.

I'd never agree to scamming or shorting anyone, that should go with out saying, I agree in someone's time of need, it is a terrible feeling to kick me when I'm down.

So I'm wondering if a general "regulars" discount can help this? What I mean is, we have no way of showing clients our appreciation for their loyalty. We can't put " thank you" cards under their windshield wipers. I have a regulars thing I do for clients and it works really good, because they know they have a discount day available to them, they don't short me they use their earned visit I gave 50% off. I was scammed in 2012 when I gave a 5th visit for free to anyone who came that many times, but after I was scammed I realized it happen right before Christmas, these clients are used to seeing us on regular basis and when life makes them short on funds some will just do without while others will get panicked an try to scam you.

Maybe we should have some form of a "life happens" for clients, regulars of course, to use when they too get down on funds.

I think it could help limit the need to short girls, they won't be too ashamed to ask for a discount, they won't try to short anyone without telling them and this way it keeps good connections together, it sucks to lose a great client over $20 bucks!!

I'm open to suggestions if anyone has any, I've even thought about a milage thing, some of my clients drive from far away, since I know there must be other providers that are closer, yet they make that drive just for me! I've thought maybe I should give those clients $25 off to make it easier for them to continue with me being far away, the only thing stopping me is figuring a way to verify the drive without looking NOSEY. So if we can think of a way to give clients a break it might limit or even stop the need to short anyone. It's just a thought of course.

I don't mind the drive I just don't want to be canceled on after I drove that far, I think a provider loses more clients by canceling on them 15 mins before the scheduled time than $20. I don't think you would be nosey asking a general area they are from, I do let them know that I will be driving a long distance to see them when scheduling so they know. And yes I did try to see you and you did cancel on me, that is why I went a greater distance to see Scarlet.

I got PM from a senior member here saying a specific user is PMing HIM asking odd ball questions that a person in this industry wouldn't ask, I looked up the guy and he only has one review, it's a review only validating someone else's review, just to remind everyone, that is a tactic used to make other members comfortable with talking to them about behind the scenes info, an a lot of people fall for it!! They won't have any validated reviews, they use old reviews about girls already reviewed and they either write something similar so the member who wrote it originally will reply in forum an talk in PM. They write good an bad reviews but it's almost always on girls previously reviewed. Please be careful who you give personal Info on, don't give behind the scenes info about providers or other members to people you don't know.

Photo identification in additional to other info could be used to securely confirm who you are to someone but a state issued photo identification card or DL alone proves nothing. For example if someone is asking for; employment information along with an employer issued photo identification card or badge, if available, that's one thing. However, the last time I checked LE have state issued photo identification, such as a DL, same as anyone else.

In all cases, some guy either texted or called a provider and claimed to be me. I know that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, but somehow the thought of some loser impersonating me is troubling. Each time for some reason the lady and the imposter couldn't get together but she still thought it was me. Only when the real Glockman turned up did she find out otherwise. And it wasn't easy in two instances for the real Glockman to show up. None of the ladies were members of this forum.
