Having said that I would like to address some of your statements and clarify other. Feel free to pm me if you would rather take this off-line.

I think you should re-read my post. I never said nor implied that paying a higher rate equates to better experiences or better services. In fact in the last 9 months I have enjoyed two of the best experiences in my entire life and neither approached the $300 threshold. I agree that I said a higher rate in a better hotel usually lowers the risk due to volume (it just math! LOL) and I stand behind that statement.

It is all about managing the situation from when you book, your parking spot, your knowledge of surroundings and your execution. If you are booking an $80 quickie you must be aware that the girl needs to see a ton of guys to reach her goal of income. Simple math yields that she needs 4 quickies to get the the $300+/- that a higher end girl gets to by seeing one guy for an hour. Neither you nor anyone else will convince me that volume does not matter in terms of risk, it does.

I do want to conclude by stating that I am no provider snob. I rarely am able to dip my toe in the high rate end of the pool and play mostly in the same $200 +/- pool that you frequent.

Great points by LBJ, SSac, and PW. When reading reviews of providers, I am grateful when the reviewer describes the lady's screening process and meeting process. While I know risk is never eliminated, and it frankly may not even be lowered, I do feel more comfortable if the lady and / or her screener take great care to ensure a low profile and safe environment. I do realize that its probably giving me a false sense of security in a high-risk game. That said, for me, the decision to go in-call vs out-call is less about lowering risk than it is about better cost and convenience.

First I agree with LJB that money not always mean good service, in fact far from it. I agree with PW however that many of those that advertise on the other site are more expensive and indeed make extra effort to stay in safer (and more expensive) hotels (or apartments) and act like they "belong" so your chances of being introduced to LE are indeed lower. They do however often make you go through some serious verification processes and I really am not sure how low volume they really are. It seems to me that most of them strive for 3 clients/day. 4 is good. 5 is rare, and they usually try not to go above 5, because first of all, now they're getting tired, and second they're hardly ever presented with such an opportunity anyway.

Also, many less expensive ladies seem to be more carefree in their choices of accommodations and their behavior with the outside, and have a tendency not to bother much with safety precautions. They always stay over and over (in fact sometimes reside weeks on end) at the same hotels where often it's only a matter of time before trouble arrives. Ladies that cost more are more likely to change hotels frequently as not to become too familiar of the faces and also fit into the business woman-type. But again I don't have a tendency to pay the other site fees and it sure limits me to quantity and quality but I do see some "other site ladies" for much more reasonable fee then the next guy. Stalking or even phone harassment becomes their issue.

Just paid a visit. Won't repeat. Standard two-call system to a moderately-priced chain hotel, or inn, as it seems to want to be called. Pretty, young Asian in her mid-twenties called Yo Yo. Limited English. Did one of those "accupressure" massages that, at least for me, are more annoying than anything else. After about ten minutes of that and some decent soft touch before and after the flip, the haggling began. I thought she overvalued her services. Maybe I'm just cheap. Settled on a nude HE -- not what I went there for, but in the end I'm glad I didn't spring for more. But if it's happening at the same time and you know that it's her on both ads but under different names then, chances are, the reason is trying to get higher payers while not losing the lower payers at the same time.

But not always, especially with many of the traveling girls. According to US News, the average domestic airline ticket is just under $400. Average price for a 4 star hotel in Boston is $200+ per night. One week visiting ad on eros is $125 (visiting VIP ad is $200). So let's say a traveling escort charging $300 an hour comes to Boston for a week. Her expenses for the trip are $2,000+, so she needs to see at least 7 guys just to cover her expenses. She'll probably only work 5 of the 7 days she's here, so that means at least 1.4 guys per day to cover expenses. Traveling pretty much necessitates seeing at least three or four guys per day in order to make a worthwhile profit. Now that's assuming there's nothing going on in Boston which makes the hotel rates go up... If that happens, she may need to see 5 or more guys per day. I like to see girls 4 or 5 times a week, which puts the $300+ girls outside of my budget. But I have met a few of them on occasion for photo shoots (and sometimes worked out alternative payments, but that's not really germane to the topic at hand). This has allowed me an opportunity to spend several hours with them, and observe how they book appointments while taking breaks between sets. Some of them in my experience are just as high volume as the lower priced backpage girls.

I stand by my statement that outcalls are safer, you know exactly how much traffic you have in a day. Plus Uncle LEO probably isn't staking out your house because it's a known hotspot, unlike certain hotels (the ones in Waltham come to mind). But I also understand that many of you prefer incalls because you simply don't have other viable options.
