You can sit at the stage just be sure to tip the dancers there. The others aren't allowed to approach you if you're at the stage.
Other than that you're right it comes with the territory. There's no club that pays their girls a wage. They all work 100% for tips. I get it that some undesirable girls can get aggressive but a simple "No Thank You" sends them on the way.
Guys, can I get a recommendation about the best clubs to attend that have the least amount of pressure? It's nice to have the option for more personal contact, but it's not relaxing to me to have to fend people off all day or night. I get that it goes with the territory to some extent, but I'd like to find a place or (places) that I can basically just chill and watch. Does this sort of thing exist?
Granted you'll still get (aggressive) girls to approach you but at least you can just tell them you just want to chill and drink.
I've sat by the stage before, while MOST girls won't approach you, the ones you tip on stage WILL (eventually) or at least they'll stop by and "thank" you for the tips (the good ones do anyway).
They really need to give customers a sign they can set on the table "Ready for a dance" "Not right now, come back later" lmao.

Simply just say "I'm here because its closest to my house, so I'm just here to get a quick and easy beer and chill." And don't dress nice or wear a Rolex.

Have a sign above with their name when they're on stage? This will be my gift to humanity. To bring strip clubs into the 21st Century making life better for patrons and strippers.

Find an excuse such as I am a local or I am waiting on my girlfriend before I dance or such. Tell 3-4 of the girls and the word will spread. They will leave you alone.

Couples
First time in Vegas and first time going to a strip club with my wife.
Where's a good place that's for beginners, caters to couples but also a place where's things are likely to gets handsy?
And any tips or information on expected pricing, etc, would be gratefully appreciative.
My GF and I have been to Palomino, Little Darlin's, Sapphire and a couple of others and Palomino is our favorite. It's nude for one thing and serves alcohol (the only nude club that does). The girls there are great with couples. They will always talk to my GF first, to make sure she's comfortable. Some ladies are there with their guy simply to appease him but some, like my GF, really enjoy it. The girls there aren't pushy, they'll sit with you and ask you if you want a dance (s). Sometimes we do but when we don't we just tell them "we're just going to watch the stage show for awhile" and they move on. Palomino is in North Las Vegas, they have valet parking after 9 or a nice lit secure lot to park anytime. We usually get there early (by Vegas standards), around 8:30 or so as we like to sit at the rail. Never any pressure. Sapphire is fun one time just for the sheer size of the place but the girls are pretty pushy there.

Hippo 5/27 and 5/29
I know it's crazy but my friend in town wanted to check it out AGAIN after Friday night. It was packed (both sides opened) with tons of girls.
One thing I want to mention is VIP is now on the other side (left when you walked in), it's now $100 for 15 minutes BUT you need to buy ONE drink which cost $25. And they're going to expect tips (for the bartender and the girl).
Sunday night was a bit slower with only the left side opened but still crowded. Also visited the "top shelf" room (it's the entrance with all the bottles on display) Basically it's an exclusive VIP section (with it's own bar, etc.) very nice. I didn't bother to ask how much I know it'll be $$ The OG sign is also back there.
Hippo can be a nice place to chill (I say go there for Happy hour before 7 pm) otherwise the drinks seem to be on the higher side. I also don't like the fact they force you to buy 1 drink for VIP at $25. They should just say $125 for VIP and it comes with 1 drink.
Still it's refreshing to see how much this club "evolved" since my last April visit.

Never been in there. You think being right across from the Orleans is a great location.
We'll see how long this new club will last.

I dunno.

Also, not sure if being by the Orleans is going to help very much. They going to have to do something really special, or completely own the Latin niche. I hope they do well though. I'd love to see more strip club options for Vegas, maybe more competition will help with the insane prices, but very doubtful.

If so, it's had several different owners.

Sunday 5/22
Little late with this report, but still relevant enough. Started the Sunday night out at Chicas (which is where I unload most of my cash and have the most fun), then hit Peppermint Hippo around 10 pm. Hippo was dead, they said due to it being EDC weekend. By the time I left around 11, it had picked up a bit.
Hit Spearmint Rhino next ($43 cover, no drinks included). They try to pair you up with a girl when you come in which is super annoying. It was slow here, but again started to pick up right about the time I was leaving.
Next hit up Diamond Cabaret around midnight which apparently has gone through a few name changes. My understanding was that it is a full juice bar. Guy outside checking I'd said $10 cover, guy inside that came to the little window said $20 cover, LOL. I was literally the only customer in the place. The waitress took me to a little circular table in front of the stage, and the DJ called up one of the dancers to dance. Interestingly enough, they do offer alcohol in the form of either Budweiser or Heineken, otherwise it's non-alcoholic drinks. I wasn't going to sit there at the table like a stiff, so I had the waitress bring me a stack of 1's, and sat at the rack.
The girls do 2 song sets, the first song top comes off, and the second song the bottoms come off. They had 6 dancers, all pretty decent in my book, and a diverse selection too for being such a small group.
During the first girls 2nd song, one of the other dancers came up and sat next to me at the rack. That's a first, generally that's a no no to infringe on another girls dancing. The girl that sat next to me was arguably the hottest dancer there, dark hair, tattoos, enhancements, the professional stripper look. She said the private room there was $300 for 30 minutes with the girl getting fully nude. Not bad compared to some of the offerings at other places. I did not partake, hung around for a full set from each of the girls and a repeat of the original dancer. A few other customers came in along the way, so it made it less awkward.
Last stop was Treasures. $40 cover which included 2 drinks. It was actually fairly busy here for 1 in the morning, probably at least 20 dancers. They try to pair you with a girl too after you come in, but I told the girl twice I was headed to the bar. While getting my drink there, made a friend, and hung out with her and later on one of her friends for the rest of the night. All in all a good time.

I wish they have a strip club party bus (hopping) here. Kind of like how they have it for night clubs. You pay X amount to get on this strip club bus, they take you to 5 different clubs a night, no cover, VIP entrance, but you stay only x amount of minutes before moving on. That way you can drink and not worry about driving / Uber to your next destination.
I haven't gone back to Chicas in awhile, plan to. Hippo seems to be the spot to chill. Although they have way too many girls on Sat night if you go too early (like 9 pm) The dancer- customer ratio is insane. I mean, I like the attention but still it's overwhelming. I do like how Hippo doesn't charge you cover (for locals) I hate paying anything more than $10 just to get in.

The insane amount of money on just cover charges. Thats like 10 dances in cover charges alone!
