Hotel can be considered a place of prostitution
Well in Florida there is a concealed carry permit. A hotel is not a place OF prostitution, it just happens there. And finally when the DB is dead and its your word against Hers (who probably has multiple arrests) that you were just there and She asked you to come in when the DB came in threatening you. However, just flashing it in most cases will stop them in their tracks. Personally Pappi likes, but doesn't have the tazer cane.
A place of nuisance. Florida defines "a place of nuisance" as any place that annoys the community, injures the health of the community, or is injurious to the manners or morals of the people. These types of locations include, but are not limited to, places of prostitution, assignation (an outdated term for a place used for secret meetings), a place of lewdness, places used for illegal gambling purposes, or places deemed to have criminal gangs and activity.

A motel owner can actually have his property seized by the state for allowing criminal activity to occur on his property. I was stunned to read this. It starts with a temporary closure of the property. If any arrests for drugs / prostitution have occurred on the property it can be considered a place of prostitution. Getting arrested for soliciting is embarrassing and even annoying, but minor. Getting arrested with a weapon is a FELONY and serious. Is your freedom worth the $ or $.
Your arguments contradict statute. The guy is dead, you claim self defense or stand your ground, she's got arrests for prostitution, arrests have occurred on this property before for drugs and / or prostitution, and you're done. You better have a darn good attorney! What you just did is kill a DB who was engaged in a scam to deprive you of property, not your life. Guys, I'm noticing a lot of you are beginning to act like true morons, carrying weapons to these encounters. Leave them locked in the car for god's sake! You might lose a few bucks instead of your freedom or worse. These girls lose future business with this type of behavior. Now if these morons pursue you to your car and attempt entry, then statute is clear, attempting to enter the vehicle or pull you out of it gives you CLEAR cause to end the DB's life!
The point is that here the police don't have to PROVE you committed a crime. Place of Nuisance is a civil statute allowing a town to seize property. Let's not create a precedent that allows the police to go further.
