The Venetian was interesting. I have stayed there a number of times, but I thought there was a bit more CG activity than the past. The Circle Bar in the middle of the casino clearly had a good number of CGs. I thought that it was interesting that most were not what I would call high end. The Venetian is an upper tier hotel / casino, but the CGs at the bar were not of the elegant variety. Don't get me wrong, there were some hot CGs present, but they could be spotted as CGs from 50 yards away.

Now I have been approached at the machines a few times, but it is rare for me to get approached while playing at the tables. The third day, I played at the Palazzo. There was not nearly the CG action there. I saw nothing at the bars. The only place I saw a CG was at the entrance to the casino heading toward the check in / out lobby. I've noticed a few people have mentioned discussing prices before taking a CG back to their room. Couldn't that be cause for arrest? Or are laws different in Vegas? If I were a picking up a SW on the street, I'd do the "prove your not LE and let me touch your boob or crotch" thing before talking any prices in my car but obviously this is not going to happen in a casino. My main question is: is it safe to discretely talk prices and services on the casino floor or should that wait until your room when you can do a proper LE check? Any advice would be much appreciated.

Montana[/QUOTE]Based on my experience and observation, I would say yes, it's safe to discreetly talk specifics to a girl on the casino floor. As far as I know, LE does not send undercover agents into the hotels to bust clients. The hotels don't want to see their guests getting busted inside the hotel. If that happened, it would create a scene and bad PR for the hotel. As far as I know, undercover cops are only used on the street. However, it is true that hotel security can and will sometimes question girls and / or ask them to leave. But the hotels would not bother a client unless he was causing a problem, like approaching civilian girls asking them if they are working girls. Wait for the girl to give you "the look" or to approach you before you talk to her and try to talk to her in a discreet place.

LEO will not go to your room alone, so you have better odds of knowing that the girl isn't out to bust you. On the other hand, make sure you're thinking with your big head before you invite a stranger to your room. If you're drunk, you may get rolled.

My own experiences have been good. None of the girls were ever LEO and none ever tried to rob me. Your mileage may vary.

I would never take a CG to my room without discussing what I was going to get beforehand both in terms of price and what we were actually going to do.

Others will wait till they get to the room but I think that puts you at a big disadvantage. If you can't get her to a reasonable figure you'll end up A. Paying an unreasonable one B. Having to run her out, which while doable can be unpleasant and lead to other issues.

The bottom line is I have very little fear of getting picked up by the police inside a casino. The police really don't want to arrest tourists if they can avoid it and the Casino's really don't want guests getting arrested for something harmless like that. If the Casino takes issue they go after the CG's not the customers.

Can it happen? Sure, anything can happen. But incredibly unlikely imo.

Once you walk outside the casino door you are fair game.

Sounds like my odds are pretty good of not getting busted, even if discussing prices, as long as I'm careful to stay inside the casino, invite them back to my room and not cause a scene. That's great because I would prefer not to haggle in my room and waste each others' time. That's one problem solved. Now I just need to figure out how not to lose a ton on the roulette wheel, LOL.

I have read the posts going back about a year and know that some like week days and others prefer weekends for meeting casino girls. There seems to be a consensus, however, that Friday is the busiest day followed by Saturday. I wondered about Sundays on a three day weekend (where Monday is a holiday). Do people think that this day is similar to a Saturday in terms of CGs or is it more like any other Sunday.

While I admit that I have never been in a Vegas casino, I have had very good friends who were in the millitary and stationed at the base outside of Vegas in the 90's. Though, I didn't beleve them, the story as they related to me was this:

The casino's they frequented had paid girls in the casino to distract winning gamblers, until they started loosing. These girls were in their late 20's to early 30's, drop dead gorgeous, dressed to the nines, with hair, makeup and jewelry done up perfectly. They would come and go from the employee areas or sit at a back bar until the bartender got a call, then he would chat with them, and they would go out onto the floor and chat up a gambler. Later they would come back to the bar, drink non-alcoholic drinks for free on the bar's tab, until the bartender got another call to send them out on the floor again. They were friendly to talk to, but had no interest in anything more than conversation and would not drink.

Really though I wouldn't see the point. Distract the gambler from what? In general they just want you to keep playing. Keep playing and eventually you'll lose no matter what kind of streak you have.
