CL-Adjacent: Has anyone had luck with Reddit posters?
I'm almost positive this is a scam (too many red flags) but figured would post here to be sure and / or caution others.
On the eroticmassage subreddit, I've seen posts such as this:
24 (F4 A) #Boston, MA Providing erotic massage to ease your stress.
Step into a cozy, intimate space designed for your comfort and well being. Every massage is customized to your preferences, combining the ideal pressure and techniques to ease stubborn tension, reduce stress and leave you feeling refreshed and restored.
I ended up messaging them on Reddit and got a reply with a price list which looked well done / laid out but the prices seemed relatively in line with expectations (60 min deep tissue 120; tantric 150; PM 130; Nuru 300; Shiatsu 250). There was a note that only Nuru comes with an optional HE. Also, in small print, a booking fee of 50% The top of the price list said Maddie's Body Rub and there was a Telegram account where the person offered to verify (but didn't clarify how they would).
I didn't chase that any further but saw a very similar post and clicked on it then on my old Chat history and saw the prior person's account was now disabled (not totally unexpected for Reddit). The new account had a different Telegram account. I asked for the price list and it was the same numbers but different format and now it was Ruby's. I also checked on location and it was in Dorchester.
When I lightly pushed on the change in names / Telegrams, I was ghosted (I though) for 2 days then the answer was 'Yes that was me but now I work under a different management'.
So now I'm more confused about the situation. Not planning to pursue with the 50% deposit and, no offense, Dorchester location with no pix / website to help but kind of curious what this is if not just a scam to take deposits.
Sorry for the long post.
