I can't comment on this specific incident, but if men like this have another, legal, affordable and accepted outlet for their urges I think we'd all be safer and happier.

I don't know how much more patrol they can do on that street without other areas suffering from a lack of police. They roll up and down that street 24/7 365. But I agree. If that rapist would have been able to "bust his nut' for lack of a better term for $50 legally, this may not have happened. Odds are if he was on Johnston, he was looking for a SW. And it sounded like he wasn't taking a "no". Even if they would "overlook" a house so they didn't have to fight a public outcry of legalizing prostitution, it would help. I mean Stanley's was on Arlington for years and I'm sure they knew about it. Problem with a place like that is it's hit or miss and too much money. If you could offer a fellow 15 minutes for $50. You'd be in business all day.

While I am in favor of legalizing rape, I think so doing will have a much smaller impact on rape then you think. Rape has been shown to typically be about power than sex. Legalized prostitution will do nothing for the power seeking rapist.

Um, I assume you mean that you are in favor of legalizing prostitution, not rape. It would be good to clarify that point.

But there are some rapists who are simply mentally unstable and sexually deprived, who seek some sort of release in some fashion and sometimes resort to assaulting someone.

If you legalize $20 BJs you can cut down on those specific types of crimes. You'll also ease the minds of those of us who just need a little bit of something during the dry periods between relationships.

I finally found Glory Dayz, or Daze on Main St. early Tuesday. Any get anything extra from place on state road in the falls? I think its 'the happening lounge' I went in once for a drink with some buddys, very tiny place with bikers but seemed peaceful enough. There was not VIP area, so this all would happen in a corner, outback, or in your car. They use to have very high turn over for girls so I can't help you with any names.
