I'm sorry to those that saw Adalyn and Tessa at my behest and weren't super stoked. I'm a bit younger at 34 and usually base my recommendations mostly on the chemistry I have with them. Adalyn / Tessa and I kinda hit it off right off the bat so I can imagine my sessions being a bit better than others. I also don't go searching specifically for extras (though love the pleasant surprise when it does happen).

I think everyone should be welcome to pose questions about some of our favorite providers from the Honey / Body Care Center days of 2+ years ago. I'm sure there is a lot of them working under different names at different places. I'll mention a few that I'm sure a lot of you are aware of.
Novia. She was one of the most talked about back in the day. She has her own IG now and posts when she works in different places in Anaheim, Buena Park and South LA.
Paris. I never saw her but I remember her being really popular at Honey a couple of years ago. Sometime earlier this year I think it was Nuru Santa Ana /17 said she was going to be working there. I think it was short lived though.
Jazzy. Never saw her either but I know she was a popular Honey girl that I've seen advertised at Nuru Santa Ana /17 and South OC places.
Mercedes - Heavily tatted and super curvaceous girl that was at Honey in those last few months before it closed. She's at Angel Touch every now and then.
Vina. Works at Haven and affiliated spas a lot. I've seen her go by different names all begninning with V at different places.
I've looked for Ally from Honey from those days with no luck. I think she was Vietnamese. Skinny and fit and had man-mades but were incredibly well done. I've also looked for Bella from Body Care Center. She was black and extremely curvy. I think she worked at Nuru Gurus with a lot of those Body Care girls too but that was before my time. So, they just have the location at Brea now.

So I should have stuck to my instinct and tried Adalyn, but Makayla caught my eye and I decided to give it a try. She is extremely hot in person as well (not as done up as her photos obviously), but still. I was excited to see how things go! But unfortunately that's where things got disappointing almost after walking in she told me the donation was 220. I pushed back and said everything I've read and done previously averaged between 100 to 120 for a half hour. She disagreed and it looked like nothing was going to happen for me that day. I told her all I had on me was the 120 donation. She thought about it for a long awkward pause, then said she would skip the back part of the massage and that it would just be a pretty basic front nuru massage. Which she was right. She almost immediately went to town trying to get me to finish (which in the moment wasn't horrible, LOL. But I would have at least liked to try to use my half hour). Anyway. Not the same experience I've had from there as other girls at Haven. I'll be back there I'm sure, but definitely not for Makayla.

I would say most of the girls here range from 100 to 160 for an hour. Probably less of the lower charging girls now. But its good that you call Makayla out on here and stuck to your guns in person. Trying to run up the price significantly more (for a 30 min appt) than what most others are cool with is a big turn off.
Also I have had a similar incident here with Mia, I think. She walked in, physically she did not share any reasonable resemblance to the IG photo, she basically slammed her stuff down on the sink and with some attitude and exasperation was like "what do you want?" I responded and she gave me a quote that was more than any of the good providers there at the time (lyn, yuyu, rae, jazzy) were looking for. Sensing it was not going to be a good visit I straight up was like is there someone else who I can see? So she got the front desk girl and I was able to switch thankfully with no issues.
Long story short I just say stick to your guns with what you are comfortable to spend and if something sounds wildly more than what other people on her mention I'd be ready to switch providers or walk. I been in quite a few situations where I reluctantly accept and I would say none of them ever turn out good haha.

Nobody should be putting up with the poor service and rising rates that entitled and lazy types like this Makayla are giving. More people should be calling out these turds, as there are enough of them now to where I am skipping going to any of these places altogether unless I know 100% it is someone who does an actual good job.
