Sort of on odd problem. There might be a simple solution here that is am just not seeing so I wanted to ask for some help. I have a young lady willing to meet up. I am not having her over at my place, and she can not host so we decided to get a hotel. The issue is my schedule only allows be to meet between 8 am-12 pm. I can not see to find a hotel that will let me check in at 8-12 and getting the room the night before does not work because of obligations at home. Same issues I rant into look at Airbnb, which by the way seems a lot cheaper than most hotel. Not some persons spare bedroom, but nice private places. Any suggests on a place we can meet?

Or do the hotels have specific times you can check in?

Any suggests on a place we can meet?[/QUOTE]I've called hotels before, told them I was booking from 3 pm on Tuesday until 12 pm on Wednesday but wouldn't be able to check in due to working overnight until 7:30 am or so and asked them to just charged my CC in advance and I'll pick up the keys to the room in the morning.

Usually I'll say I just need a place to sleep and cleanup in the morning for a bit before I move on to the next town for work.

Hotels don't give a shit.

They let you book for 2 or 4 hours and you can book them at any time of the day. There is one near my work that is decent where I always meet my SB's at. $26 for 2 hours, any time.

By pure accident one of the accounting ladies that worked in the office was frustrated with her husband, after a couple weeks of small talk and being the shoulder to cry I convinced her that we needed to have our own time together. Long story short I found a local motel 6 owned by nice Indian man. It was one that had been updated. Our first visit I told him I only wanted the room for no more than 6 hours and never past 5 pm. He agreed to let me check in at any time for a slightly reduced rate. We would take quick showers and never used the towels. I would have my overnight bag which had towels. We really only messed up the bed. We would be out by 5 pm to get home to our spouse. The hotel would come clean the room and he could rent it out again that night. It was a win win for both parties.

When I moved back to Michigan and needed a room during those times I found a similar hotel and have worked out the same arraignments as out west. Might be something to consider.
