One of my bar friends told me that there are some young girls working in a couple of the Waipahu bars, so I figured I'd go check it out. Stopped by that bar that used to be called Monique's in back of the Waipahu 7-11. Dont know what its called now. To my surprise there were a couple younger girls working with all the aunties there. One looked like she was in her early 30's. Nice looking with colored hair...so she kinda stood out. She was busy at one of the tables so couldnt talk to her. Just drank my beer and left.
The other bar he mentioned was the one on Waipahu Depot Rd. The one right at the corner. Will check it out another night.

Has anyone noticed the decline in the KB seen? It's not anything close to what it was like 20 years ago, not even remotely close. Am I just getting old or is the thrill just not there anymore? You hunt, get some play, and the next day it's like, I spent $ for that! Anyone check out the new place Velvet?

But hearing some of the stories from my retired buddies and the forums, its not as wild now as before. My retired buddies used to do some crazy stuff: have the girl sit on the table and eat her out while another guy is grabbing her tits from behind, crawl under the dividers to get to another table, go under the table and DATY...etc. Dont hear much of that happening now...except if you go into the karaoke rooms, but the prices are getting outrageous. A girl at one of the Pearl Kai bars wanted $$$$$ to go into the room, and the girl was 39 I think and just plain looking...crazy. Anyway thats my take on the scene.

I only went to Velvet the saturday of their grand opening. Some nice girls, looked to be all transfers from the other bars. The girl who looked like she was the owner was pretty nice. Havent gone back since.
Back in the days, besides the drinks for the girls being cheaper, it seems like the gals had a better attitude about working in a bar. There was a lot of "under the table action", even full sex in the back booths. The girls just seemed to accept that it was a part of their job back then. The drink for them was a excuse to be with you so you could explore their bods. You paid to play, not to refresh their bladders. Seems like the "today girl" thinks we are actually buying them a drink. Everyone drank beer or shots (not the watered down kind), no one even dared to ask if the could drink tea. Nowadays they have the attitude like we customers enjoy spending $.20 for their passive company. Most guys don't make $.20 an hour and they expect 4 to 5 drinks per hour for companionship. Got me thinking as of late. Been having a whole lot of luck at Pipeline or even Zanzabar getting the one night stand the last few weeks. If I gotta buy a girl a drink, at least at these place it just five bucks and I'll take my chances on wooing her home with me. At least most of the girls that go to these nightclubs have a preconceived idea that they may hookup that night as opposed to the KB girls that are out for just money. The girls are at work to make big bucks, they are not there because they are horny. If they get arroused, they frequent Africa or Noblis after work to get their rocks off. They know mixing business and pleasure is dangerous.

Most of my co-workers get on my case for wasting money at the KB's. They too go pipeline or oceans and will almost always go home with a date. But they were the in "guys" in high school, and I was the outcrowd, so my friends and I (all nerds) hit the KB's for attention. When I look around the bar, I see myself in every booth . . . sad, attention deprived, social misfit, non-lady-killer, feeling proud that a girl is sitting next to him. Spending $20.00 for a drink is stupid on my part but that's the only way I can get a girl to talk to me. I think I go to the bar to be abused by these women. Some sick way of getting attention. There are a few guys that sit at the bar that I wish I could be more like . . . seems like the girls are chasing them rather than vise-versa. They never buy drinks for the girls but the girls always hang around them. What's their trick? Also, what is a house customer?
