Tactics need to be tailored to you, and also to the girl. No step by step guide will work although pointers are helpful.

My strategy, which works for me, is a direct approach. I vary it to the girl, but generally the coffee m&g is the way to go. Agree 100 percent with rubbery. It can be more expensive if you let it be, but after a three month hiatus, I am back in the bowl to add to the rotation. Also, as an aside, I have to respectfully disagree with the approach you descibed. At least for me, the approach you descibed sounds a lot like my approach from middle school to junior year in college. All it ever got me was a one way ticket to the friendzone.
