Which is why you see many more on weekends and during the busy period. BUT even in December during the slowest weeks of the year, they're still some out there.

I'm not an expert or anything but I have, through much observation and making "friends" with a few CGs, learned a lot about the subject. The deal is that there are local CGs (which make up the majority of them) and then there are travelers. When it is a big weekend / week, for whatever reason, by and large they know it! They know when the conventions are, they know when the next big fight is being held and where, they know why and when there will be more men (and thus money) in town. So, the girls from Miami, TX, or LA fly in and the locals are out in position. I'm not saying they are all this up on things by any means but there are certainly some business minded young ladies here who know when the paydays will be best. And, of course, there are whole different levels of girls and, mostly, they know where they fit and are comfortable on that range. So, you will (again this is all general info and there will be exceptions) most likely find the hottest (meaning the most made up and best dressed) and most expensive girls at Wynn and Bellagio. And you will find less sophisticated girls downtown. Now, the fun of the game is to find the exceptions to the rule. Like, the new girl who is really attractive and not so hardened by the game and not charging $$$$$. There are generalities but the reality is nobody can say: "You will find 12 WCG and 6 HCG and 4 BCG at this casino at this hour at this location." It's just not possible as it is an ever changing and fluid situation.

Yes, it's more crowded and more expensive, but that's also when the CGs are more likely to work. Doesn't mean you can't find someone on off-times. A few years ago, I was spending Christmas week and got approached by a lovely redhead at Hard Rock Center Bar. Great body and she wanted more than I intended to spend. Since I wasn't really looking, I offered $200 and she came back with all of this stuff about how she gets $1500 at Wynn, blah blah blah.
I simply reminded her that we aren't at Wynn and I'm not planning on spending that kind of money. Take it or leave it. She ended up coming to my room for $200 because, let's face it, she wanted the money more than I wanted to get laid. I guess it's like buying a car. Being prepared to walk away only works when there aren't other buyers lining up for the goods.
Like others, I've gone through several Strip resorts on a walk and come up with absolutely nothing when I was looking. It wasn't necessarily a bad time of year, but nothing big was happening.
4th of July is big, but not necessarily for the big spenders who are looking for some CG action. You're more likely to get the drunken 20 or 30 something crowd who blew their wad on travel and are living four to a room. Not exactly a dream session for a CG (yes, I exaggerate, but not that far off). On a big fight night, you get visitors with lots of disposable income. Now that's going to draw in more CG action. If you're too cheap on those nights, don't be surprised if she walks away and finds someone else with a better offer.
How do you guys avoid rip offs with casino girls? Like, I guess this could go with all escorts / prostitutes in general, but how do you prevent this casino girl from just taking your $$ as soon as you offer it up and going back down into the casino?

But you can do a few things to minimize it:
Don't be falling down drunk, that's asking to get robbed.
Don't leave them alone, even stepping in to the bathroom could be an invitation for them to run with the cash.
In an ideal world you wouldn't pay until after, probably not going to fly with most CG's. Usually you can get away with showing them the money and setting it out somewhere.
Don't be afraid to tell them to fuck off if you feel uncomfortable. Don't be afraid to call security if they threaten you or give you shit about leaving. Security will be on your side, though I would expect the CG to bolt if you called them.
Get them to sit down / put down bag / etc. And then discuss business. Lot less likely to pull a runner if they're sitting on the couch and their purse is over by the table imo.
Keep in mind even with precautions it's still a possibility. If one of them was determined to leave with the cash you really couldn't stop them unless you wanted to get physical (not a good idea imo). But that's one of the risks of CG's. Again I think it's a pretty low risk.

I know this will not prevent the CG from taking your donation and bolting, but I feel it needed to be mentioned. If you know you're going out on the hunt, lock up everything before leaving out. Cash, jewelry, watches, electronics, casino chips, slot machine tickets, etc. If you didn't plan on hunting but find a CG anyway, give her a reason to let you go back to your room first and have her meet you there. I always say "I'm here with friends and don't want to be seen walking with a girl, wait two minutes and come to room #___ at ___ casino." I've never had a problem. Get to your room quickly and lock everything up. And hide the key in a place that she won't think to look. Don't keep it in your pants pocket. Behind the dresser is always a good spot. Let the woman know in not so many words that you respect her as a human, settle everything up front and do as the above and you should have no problem. And just like gambling, don't give up more than you are willing to lose. I can accept a $$ loss on a trick roll or a cold craps table.
I'm just a real AMP / brothel / reviewed providers only kinda guy, so picking up casino girls seems so much TOFTT. It could happen with any monger experience, but for some reason casino girls just seem like they would have the most to gain with little to no reprocussion to just say "hey guy its $$" and you hand her the donation and she just stands up and walks right out the door. If she thinks she may get repeat business, she might (repeat, MIGHT) think twice about rolling you. And you might actually get better service and digits too.

Laught at alot of family drama's going on but did not or at least I did not notice any CG's when I did my rounds through the casino.
Maybe better luck next trip.

Just my thought, but any CG who goes around ripping off guys all night would probably be on the run all night trying to avoid pissed off dudes. Better to just get 'them off quick and leave with the money.

Just a quick post. Thanks to the forum, I knew where and when to look for action and what to expect from the cg. Was staying at gn downtown. 12am bcg were out, followed by lcg and wcg at the bar.
