Starz is still my favorite spot, although I don't get out much these days. And yes, Bare had the hottest dancers in the Los Angeles / Hollywood area, bar none!

A real institution in the community.

I have:

1. Spent a ton of money in Starz.

2. Slapped and squeezed countless AZZZEZ in Starz.

3. Gotten some out of this world's best "lap dances" in Starz.

4. I even kicked it with a few GIRLZ from Starz.

I will go and visit a few times before it closes.

Only one left now is KHVIII.[/QUOTE]If Starz was located half mile towards east, it woulda been in an industrial area. Then again, city finds any reasons to shut down strip joints. Good memories of that club myself with some hot looking dancers since SlyFoxx. Sad to see it go.

I can't speak to the present but when I was hitting Starz years ago it was 1 of a kind with incredible talent, booze poured by friendly bartenders, rail side pussy so up close and personal you could earn a gynecology degree if you were a frequent visitor, good lap dances for a good price, and even great food. I thought it was the best "pound for pound" stripclub in SoCal.

Reading the story linked to this thread it almost sounds like some of the current city officials are lamenting along with us. This zoning regulation goes back 20 years (I wonder why a local government that is serious about hiding these businesses from the general public would give them 20 fucking years to move or close?) But there was a fever among local officials to portray horror at the proliferation of strip clubs and escalation of mileage that was occurring in those years. The current officials may lament the loss of good business for Gardena but they still don't have the balls to repeal the regulations no matter how they may really feel and how many hot nights they themselves enjoyed in the clubs.

Full nude club at Western and Torrance bl (Torrance PO) can't recall name of the club), strip joint across the street from Barbary coast closed, Frog's on Sunday nights in Lawndale of mud wrestling.Good old days.

Who could forget "The Shanghai Lady" in Torrance. Back in the eighties, when I was a wee lad, I knew a big breasted ex-stripper that found the Lord. She along with other local residence would picket out side this establishment. They finally got their way and the place shut down in 1988.

Around the same time, down the road in Old Torrance the "Pussycat Theatre" closed it's doors. A long standing porno movie theatre that a 16 year old Quentin Tarantino got his first job at, after lying about his age.

When you mentioned wrestling I remembered a place on PCH in Long Beach, was it Angels? From back in the 80's. Guys would go up and wrestle the girls, get all wet, quite a show. Girls would come around for lap dances. Waitress would pour shotsdown your throat right from the bottle. Ahh the good old days. What city would want to close a place like that?

It was Shanghai Lady. Owner prolly randomly named it or something. Had no Asian dancers, Asian community wasn't as big in the area as now. One of my last visit, I saw a flyer on the table saying, club was moving or owner was opening up a new club on Western and few blocks off Rosecrans, it was Ron's Babery Coast.

When I pass thru the area, I pick up a burrito off catering truck there, it still brings back good old memory of Shanghai Lady today.

Girls were as hot as at Hollywood Tropicana girls, beer were low priced, never participated in shaving cream wrestling myself but enjoyed lap dances with kisses, I still remember once, some hot looking girl gave me a mad passionate dfk. Total cost was lot less than Hollywood Tropicana. It was a truly adult fun entertainment. I miss clubs like that.

I moved to L. A. 3 years ago but I remember about 15 years ago when I came out to visit I went to some strip club near LAX where you basically picked a girl, and then you'd go to a private room where she would dance in front of you and there were tissues you could just whip it out and jack off. Now I doubt it exists anymore as the only strip club I know of near lax is bare elegance, but does anyone remember a place like this? Just wondering on the off chance it still exists since I have some friends coming next weekend who don't want to go full on mongering mode so something like this would be more up their alley, haha. As for me the only strip club I ever go to is way out in upland, tropical lei, where at least I know most of the girls there do extras.
