Scam! This is a PSA for all other hobbyists. Saw a few good reviews for her and her website seemed legit. Contacted her by text and after some back and forth, we agreed on meeting time / place. She then asks for a small ($100) deposit by BitCoin. OK, I know some independent providers ask. And my little head was doing all the thinking. So I sent the deposit. She then asks for another $150 "for drinks". Start seeing more red flags. English in texts isn't native, uses wrong words, and is constantly asking for small amounts to "get ready" (I. E. $65 for "beauty parlor" The worst part. I actually sent her the $150 "for drinks" and wasted an afternoon driving out to a pretty sketchy apartment in Mid-Wilshire.

It's been a safe and good experience overall. Only one time we got into a small situation with the "local. " They had "military" personnel driving around the city that day. One of them stopped our cab driver. But the cab driver works for our hotel and knows the connection and refused. That military guy, with a gun, wanted to check our luggage.
