Last time I went to C-mowes to see an old regular of mine, you could have heard a pin drop. We had to wait for someone to play some music on the jukebox to provide a little ambiance and so the other dancers would hear me drilling her in the private room. I can't even imagine how bad Miss Kitty's is now.
Dollies changed their whole appearance. I went into Moochies in 2023 and it hadn't changed at all. I wonder if some of the old guard dancers still work there.
Its a damn shame what happened to Washington Park. I don't know what they'll do if the clubs start to close. Probably just dry up and blow away.

Copied from a previous reply. Now reread what you wrote. How do you think they make their money. I can't explain it any better than you did in your post. It's why I quit going to Washington Park 5 years ago.

Strip club action is dead, though. If you don't want pussy in the club, then any of the glitzier east side clubs will suffice. Diamonds has some lookers. Hustler still has hot women. And Country Rock also occasionally has hot dancer. Getting laid at any of these is prohibitively expensive. And the quality does not match the price, for most willing to fuck you in the VIP. The hot ones usually will not, though.
For example, C-mowes raised their price for the private room in the back. Used to be 50 bones. Now you're paying 120, and none of that goes to the girl. That is insane.
