Question: if you give her half when you tear them, what if she doesn't perform or give them back? Admittedly, she is out the cash, but wouldn't you be out for the amount of bills you tore in half? I have heard this many times before, but the only way I can see this working is if you kept both halves, but then there would be no need to tear them. What am I missing?

If you give the entire money upfront and she cheats you, you lose that bill but she gets away with her money. If you give up only half of the bill, then you will lose the bill in this scenario but she can't cash in her half the bill either. However, I don't recommend this. First of all, it's technically illegal to deliberately tore US currency. Second, show her the money up front to ensure her that you have the fund should be sufficient enough. Once money is exchanged, you often lose your bargaining chips and up to her to deliver the service.

Her greed ensures that neither of us walks away with a worthless half. I once had a girl throw her half back at me, when I started putting both halves away, she relented. Never forgot that one because her pussy was so tight, it actually hurt. (BTW, I think FS in a strip club is also technically illegal).

Now, admittedly the Inner Room is a LOT cheaper than the Mons Venus, both in terms of possible cover charge and dance prices (and, BTW, if anyone wants evening admission passes for there I've got a whole bunch I could share), but one would have to do a ton of $10 dances in one visit to offset the cost (in terms of driving time, gas and tolls to get there). So I'm not sure of your math or whether your quest to avoid a few bucks for cover is really just cutting off your nose to spite your face. Sure, I like to go there occasionally too (though not at night when the nature of the crowd changes significantly) as a change of pace. But that still leaves the issue of how to satisfy the strip club itch locally in between treks across the state.
There's a couple of things I do to keep down strip club costs. One is try to visit the clubs during the day whenever I can. That means usually a lot fewer girls working and generally not the cream of the crop (though there are often exceptions) but also fewer other mongers to compete with for the girl's affection / attention and of course never a cover (perhaps the Mons is different in that regard). The second thing I do is to go late in the afternoon (such as after work), so I can catch the tail end of the day shift (and maybe catch the mid-shift if they schedule dancers that way). If I want a change of scene, I'll bounce over to another nearby club BEFORE they start charging their evening cover. Otherwise I'll stick around and wait for the night shift to straggle in. The problem here is that a lot of dancers don't show up for work on time, so as the day shift takes off their replacements aren't all there to take their place and that 7:30-8:30 timeframe can be pretty lame depending on the club. But cheap is cheap and sometimes you don't want to jump through hoops (or drive across the state) just to save a few bucks on cover, so you just bite the bullet and pay the cover to get in (remembering to tip the door girl of course). In that case, just as when you incur excessive driving costs to get to wherever your favorite club is located, you just have to amortize the cover charges across whatever number of dances you wind up getting (typically coming out to less than $1-2 per dance, big woo).
The real problem in the case of the Mons is not so much that they charge ANY cover but that they charge so MUCH (on their dances as well). $20 just to get in when most other clubs charge more in the $5-10 range is just ridiculous, but the Mons can get away with it because of their national fame. They market to out-of-town visitors who don't have any clubs like that where they come from and so don't know how badly they're getting ripped off. As long as the Mons can fill their seats with guys like that, they couldn't care less if all the local guys boycotted them.

And there are inevitably a whole bunch of cheap guys who come just to watch naked ladies jiggle on stage, while tipping little if anything, perhaps not even buying any drinks, etc. Meanwhile, it costs the owners some money for the space, taxes, insurance, electricity and wages for the bar-staff, DJ, waitresses, etc. Does that justify $20 per head at Mons? Perhaps if that's what the market will bear or perhaps not but it seems perfectly reasonable for strip club owners to charge something during prime time just as regular nightclubs and discos do and that normally gets collected when you enter, not when you leave.

Of course, you can negotiate more clearly once you're in the back and insist on holding back your tip till the end but at that point you're already invested for the dance charge which doesn't exactly put you in the strongest position unless you're prepared to settle for a simple but very pricey lap dance. The best you can do in those situations is try to read between the lines based on her other behavior (or reports from other guys who have been with her) and hope for the best, but sometimes you may be disappointed.

I had not been to a strip club in the evening in a long time. And only a few times during the day in the last ten years. On the OBT trail, I have had a girl gently bite my crouch and ask if I wanted to get a room. I have had FS for $100 with no VIP rooms or cons. I straight up proposition to the girl, 'Will you have sex with me for $100". I got a yes or no. Never been thrown out, but had the bouncer eyeing me wondering if I was a cop.
I guess I simply like a sure thing. One of the reasons I love photography, I get to know the models while I photograph them. If I decide to revisit for another purpose, I pay for it (afterwards).

The gold club is the next club I'm going to try, I think they have prime rib on Wednesday around six. I live in Orlando, so it's just as easy for me to go east. I just need to find a cheap place in Tampa because I am not a big spender!

I have friends who live in Central Florida who do the same thing, but they also come over here. Orlando itself is a desert when it comes to good strip clubs. Its hard to beat the $10 lap dances at the Inner Room, but apart from that IMHO the other clubs in that area (Cheaters and Lido) leave a lot to be desired. Over on this coast, we have nothing if not variety with a huge number of clubs. If you're a cheapskate (like me), in general you should forget about any of the upscale clubs near the airport (Mons, 2001, Dollhouse, Penthouse etc). They cater to tourists who fly in to Tampa and don't seem to mind spending a lot of money. Also, although they're considerably cheaper, I'd also forget about the sleazy bikini bars along Nebraska, though if streetwalkers are your thing, you might want to cruise by that area. Basically, as far as Tampa clubs go, I think you're on the right track with the Gold Club and as long as you're in that Rte 60/ Adamo area you might also want to check out Scarlett's Ybor Strip & Emperors. Those are the places that my Orlando friends go when they come to Tampa.
But, to be really honest with you, I don't personally bother with any of the Tampa clubs even though I live here. Of course, I go to clubs to recruit take-out rather than spend money on in-house dances, so my criteria may be different from yours. I have managed some take-out from some Tampa clubs, but have been much more successful in Pinellas and Pasco (I'm talking about upwards of a couple of dozen different dancers over the last several years, including a couple who wound up moving in with me, but only maybe 2-3 from Tampa clubs). And my Orlando friends also go there as much or even more than the clubs in Tampa even though they're a little further. One of my Orlando friends, even comes over periodically for an overnight visit and gets a hotel near the clubs along US 19 so he can club hop and bring some back to his room.

Was at the Gold Club last Friday night. Great time! Hate to talk about food, but it's good. Menu (no pun intended) had everything I wanted and tasted great. Mostly white dancers, all about 7+. Stage tipped a few, one was thin (not saying she was on candy but sure looked). Joked around at stage seemed lay up for extras. Another dancers had tats on her boobs. Hot. Tipped couple others, all of them found their way to me. Red Head was about a 7, wanted to roll me over dance price asking $70 for 2 dances. No deal on 3rd (100+). They seem to have $40 or $50 dollar 2 dance specials. Seems like best deal. These girls are hustlers, upselling etc. Had to go, long night meeting friends for traditional Ybor pub crawl. Will return for a better report. If anyone has intel on blonde named Annie, I'd appreciate. Very cute and wouldn't mind finding her again.

Several others have posted since mine, but if you look, both halves have serial numbers. Most of my banker friends have told me that you need most - probably somewhat subjective about what is "most" - of the bill to get it replaced so that you don't have two replacements for the same bill.
