I'm going to say she's a scam but hopefully someone proves me wrong. I had a slightly different experience. She contacted me saying that she looked over my profile and she loved what she saw and she's very interested in knowing more and she sent her number. Well I looked into it and she hadn't even viewed my profile so I'm going to call scam. Like I said, maybe someone will prove me wrong.

I use my cell most times so sometimes it'll show me that when my signal is bad but I just back out and deselect the link again. Sometimes I have to go in "filters" and click "reset all". Other than that not sure why your having issues.

After she sent me a few confirmation pics, I sent her gas money to get to me. 30 bucks nothing I would be too pissed about losing, Incase she was a fake. She says she lives out in St. Augustine so an hour to get to me. The thing is tho as soon as I did her uncle had a heart attack and she couldn't make it. Crazy thing is though she offered and did refund me the gas money I had just sent. So who knows with this one.

Here in Jax and in Nashville where I also hang out. It think it is a scam to make 20 or 30 bucks here and there. I never send money before meeting anymore because of this.

And if it works then why not add more fake profiles and continue it. As a matter of fact, I could use $200 to $300 a day just for "gas money".

Reached out again & she said she needed $20 for gas, told her I'd give it to her in person, day of the meet & greet she told me her cousin had died said she needed $20 gas money for her funeral. LOL.[/QUOTE]Unless its anything other than providing them a little extra money for gas IN PERSON when you meet. 99.9% of it is Bullshyte. And my God the time they will spend chasing a $20 scam. Whenever possible, I send a few texts to waste their time, followed by blocking.

Anyone who has spent time on SA has either been cancelled on or ghosted at the last minute or stone-cold stood up -sometimes after booking a hotel (and Never pre-book a hotel on a first meet).

I'd like to encourage people to post thost the links to those that stand you up or jerk you around. Then, other brothers might return the favor to these ladies- after offering generous terms.

Confidence artists do just that, build up your trust in them then hit you hard. She sent back the $30, next time she'll need the entire amount of the date upfront and you'll feel like she's trustworthy and be more likely to give it based on her previous actions. Then she'll ghost you. I guarantee it. This one is smart, she's playing the long con.
