My report on Lauren is not as good as the other report. We had a set time to meet, texted around a dozen times with a confirmed time. Texted 1 hour prior, she responded with directions. Texted 30 minutes prior to let her know I was going to be 5 minutes late, she responded with a smile. She texted me 10 minutes before our scheduled time to have me call her when arriving. Upon arriving (on-time) , I called with no response from her. Called several times with a few texts. Waited 30 minutes and nothing at all. I even texted and called hours later to see what was up, again no response. There's always another side to the story, but I have always been courteous and respectful, but after a 40 minute drive (one-way) , I was upset that I didn't even get an explanation (and still haven't). Just a warning to others.
The only excuse I could think of is a dead phone (which she had plenty of time to recharge and respond by now) , family emergency that happened within 10 minutes of her last text (doubtful) or maybe our texts back and forth weren't enough to convict? LOL? (it was in the "S-Ville" area.)
I should have know better when the day before we exchanged 1 text during the daytime, and no response at all after 5pm. My next response was not till the morning at 8 am, maybe her hours are 8-5? (see last reason above)
Worst thing is that I didn't have enough time to get a back-up scheduled. Thought we were set!

1.) First of all, state unequivocally that if the lady at the door doesn't match the pics, you will cancel on the spot.
2.) Have the woman email a quick cell phone pic.
In regard to #1, above, it seems fairly reasonable to cancel on the spot if the lady does not match the pic. I have done this at least twice in my hobbling career, though I will admit that I wasn't especially comfortable about doing so.
Do the women who post the false pics simply count on the odd that most guys will be unwilling to risk a confrontation?
Any input here would be appreciated.
