With everyone home these days I am sure there is a lot of reminiscing going on.

The stimulus check is a prepaid refundable credit for tax year 2020 (to be filed in 2021). It is a new credit that will reduce your 2020 liability if eligible. The only way that someone may have to pay it back is if they get a check based on their 2018 return (having not filed for 2019) and when they file for 2019 their income turns out to be above the threshold. The majority of people pay little to nothing in terms of income tax, even in a philosophical sense they won't be paying it back. Having just paid my quarterlies, I am a little bitter about my position in this ponzi scheme.

You're getting an advance on a new tax credit added to your next tax filing. Its free money.

Are there any reputable providers anymore? I see myself as a fair and down to earth guy but anytime I contact a provider I get cricket's then like 2 -5 hours later they finally decide to respond. I have had it happen twice now recently I contacted and setup a time and date and as soon as I contact them to confirm no response.

I had another provider agree to meet me and her rates were posted so I took what I thought I needed and when I got there she highballed me with 250 I said nothing and walked out. Seriously what is going on?
