I don't think taking over laundry duties at this stage is going to help because she'll be more suspicious.

If the SO suspects you, it's time to put the brakes on for a while. Something happened to get her suspicion radar up, so you must now keep your behavior as clean as possible for a while. She may never completely forget her suspicions, but in time it will die down enough so you can go back to the hobby.
In general women have a greater sense of smell than men, and often have a heightened sense of smell when they are pregnant. Unfortunately, women also have a good nose for sensing when something is off.
They can find or even magically stumble on clues that can lead to doom. Like the smell of another woman in your clothes. Or a receipt that stands out or ATM withdrawal you never mentioned. Finding something you left in your pants, even a call you missed at a time you should be able to answer you phone can get their attention. Ever get a random call from her just before you went into an AMP, or right after you left one? How about a text from her with a question while you were in the AMP? These are all signs her radar is working.
Don't forget phones can be tracked, and located. The dead battery excuse for a missed call eventually wears out. Turning it off can also make her wonder why you did that. If you don't answer have a good reason prepared.
Any of these things can raise her radar. Some women deep down know men will be dogs and will eventually be bad, so she is forever expecting that you will be bad sooner or later. No way to change this.
Learn how to keep your activities invisible, and explainable. Definitely know how to and consciously cover your tracks. Don't get lazy about being careful.
Do your extra fun when you have time that is your own. Always use cash that is all your own that she won't wonder where it went. Even coming home too clean after a hard day's work without a logical reason could make her wonder. The Gym plan is a good one, so long as she doesn't show up at the gym one random day looking for you. She might even just happen to drive by the gym doing her errands one day and notice that she does not see your car there when it was the time you say you are there.
Women are natural sleuths when they get suspicious. They are also natural and better stalkers than men are when they think their man is up to something. If she suspects you, you need to turn into the perfect angel for a while. And you have to remain that angel until she is off the trail.
Of course there may be good news about her smelling your clothes.
The sense of smell is strongly connected to sexual attraction and stimulation. Some women love their man's musk so much they wear to bed a shirt he wore so they can have his reassuring smell around them. Or sleep on his side of the bed if he is away. I know women who love to suck morning cock to enjoy the musk. Her smelling your clothes when she does laundry might be a good sign. Checking phone when they shower, installing secret trackers, there's a bunch of ways I can get info if I really wanted it.
